I love JP and shop in California all of the time. My frined from North Carolina had never been so it was fun to see it all through her eyes. I was pleased to see that JP has started making more of the clothing back in the USA. For a while I was seeing more «Made in Vietnam» labels and it made me sad.
The two girls working we so pretty and very sweet.

I am very into feeling good, comfortable, and stylish with my clothes. This store fits me so well. I love the colors, nothing too vibrant, the styles are somewhat simple but cut to make it a bit more, and I love the way the clothes feel on me.
This particular store has a great staff. They are friendly and helpful. Nobody pressures you into buying anything as well (although it’s hard not to once you enter this place). It’s a bit pricy so it’s definitely a treat for me to come here. If there were anything I would change about this place it would be just that. Otherwise it’s fantastic for everything else.
You’ll feel so good when you try on these clothes. They are comfy and classy looking. If you can handle the price then try it out!

I love his clothes because I like to dress casual and simple. I would spend the extra money for his t-​shirts and sweats, because they’re so comfortable! The NYC store is smaller than the one in Vegas or LA, so the selection may not be as good. But I would always recommend James Perse.

This clothing bespeaks understated elegance and class. All cotton and fine attention to detail I am partial to JP because he’s a California designer. More importantly — he doesn’t plaster logos all over everything, the colors are muted and soft and the clothes fit well.
Price-​wise it’s not terribly expensive but also not cheap. Their location is convenient and easy and the salespeople always very helpful and friendly. Great store, great designer and great clothing. One can’t ask for much more than James Perse.

Probably my favorite clothing store.
James Perse is a master of attention to detail. His clothes are simple, attractive, and comfortable, and the layout of the store reflects that youthful simplicity perfectly.
What’s more, new clothes and colors come in every week. and the help really makes you feel at home.
I give it my highest recommendation.
