After bouncing around between different Manhattan dentists, I am so thankful to have found this practice. Without question, Dr. Heller is one of the friendliest dentists in Manhattan, in addition to being a seasoned pro! He works quickly and efficiently and at the same time he is very gentle with his patients. Another dental office had told me I had 4 cavities, but after a second examination from Dr. Heller he informed me I really just had one! His objective is to make patients feel comfortable, which I think he and his staff achieve. The office space is large, clean and newly renovated and they also offer free water bottles. Really great experience every time!

If you need a dentist Dr Heller is the dentist for you. He has music playing and a great«chair side» manner. His friendly staff is terrific with me and my family. I have been going to him for 9 years and have been very happy with his professional service.

I’ve gone to Dr. Heller twice, and each time found him, his hygienist, and his office staff to be very friendly and personable. However, after each time I found that special x-rays had been done that my insurance wouldn’t pay for. The second time I specifically requested that that x-ray not be done, and was assured that only procedures covered by my insurance would be done, I again got a bill from them. I’ve called twice to ask about it and each time I was told that they would look into it and call me back, but they never did. I’ve since learned from my friend that originally recommended Dr. Heller to me that she’s had the same thing happen to her, and that after a more complicated procedure she had months of confusion and wrangling about how much was owed that has still not been entirely resolved. I’ve really enjoyed my visits to Dr. Heller’s office, as I said above everyone’s very kind. But I can’t recommend him since their billing practices seem very haphazard and — I hate to make the insinuation, but I’m getting that impression — a little shady.
