Jimmy’z

Normally I am opposed to shopping for clothes in brand named attached stores… i love thrift, vintage, and second hand clothing stores. I first came across Jimmyz when trying to find the Steve and Barry’s in the Manhattan Mall. They always have some sort of sale going on and many of their t-​shirt prints are unique and cute. Their jeans are good as well and I enjoy the pair I bought which will usually run around $ 40 – 50 but sometimes half of that if you catch a good sale like it did! Join their email list and you get info about discounts which are usually substantial. I adore the unique qualities and designs to their clothes, and you can definitely see the Hollywood and California flair to the style.

Apparently Jimmy’z is an 80s surf brand that’s resurfaced thanks to Aeropostale. It’s plan really is to copy a «budget-​minded interpretation of Hollywood style». Uh… ok. I’m not a US weekly/​People/​OK magazine reading trend follower. I don’t follow stories on Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan and what they’re wearing because I really don’t care. But somehow I do like Jimmy’z. I’m currently eyeing a khaki and beige houndstooth print hoodie. sounds odd but really it’s genius.
