Avoid this place! Do not go to this cleaner! I drop off my laundry and dry cleaning here every week. Sometimes, they miss socks or under wears, I still can understand. But last week they destroy my skirt, which is white and black stripe. After cleaning, the white part becomes to dark grey. It changed to black and grey skirt. They did not want to admit their fault and pay me the skirt! They said this is the material problem. But, I have dry cleaned this skirt over 10 times in this cleaners in the last year! Their attitude is so terrible! Do not go to this cleaners, try some ogre cleaners.

I took off a star for price, because I guess I’m not used to paying that much? But I’ve been here several times and they do a really good job. I also took a star off because turn around time was a week. I know they get busy, but that’s pretty long, and I don’t think paying an obscene amount of money to have it ready the next day was worth it. Overall the quality of work and cleaning they do is wonderful, and they do a good job of replacing invisible zippers. Thanks!

If you want unscented garments do not use this cleaner. These cleaners are not organic. The cleaning product they use contains a chemically stabilized fragrance. I just paid $ 15 for two garments to be cleaned and they smell so strongly I cannot even have them in my apartment without wrapping them in plastic. Owner offered to clean again, but would not acknowledge the problem. When I went back the whole establishment smelled of the fragrant product so I declined cleaning them again. I will take them to a real organic cleaner to remove the fragrance.

avoid this place at all costs. after reading horrible reviews i gave them many chances anyway since my work is right next door. first experience, they lost some of my socks and undies. the owner gave me attitude. the next experiences went fine. of course on my last weekend in NY they mess up. first off, they asked if they can finish laundry next day at 10am, i said ok. i came at 2pm to give them time. it wasn’t ready and he said 4pm at the latest 6pm, with a sour azz face. so there goes another 2 – 4 hours of waiting and ruining plans on my last weekend of ny. dont go here unless you absolutely have to. i’m korean and i’ve never dealt with such a sour azz korean who looks like he hates his job n life

Jo Cleaners does a fine job. I have had shirts cleaned & pressed, suits dry cleaned, pants hemmed, and regular laundry washed & folded: I can’t see any reason to give these guys less than a good rating. Their prices are reasonable for the neighborhood and they’ve always had the clothes ready by the time I asked when dropping off. One time they hemmed a pair of pants too short and fixed it free of charge when I told them about it. A solid, neighborhood cleaners. They will pick up and deliver.

NEGATIVE. I had the bottoms of quite a number of trousers hemmed over a period of about a month or so. I was initially pleased, but the hems did not last. Within months, the hems had become undone on one pair. They redid the job at no charge. At 12 months, the hems of two more pairs of trousers came undone. This time they insisted on charging me. Pants hems do not get that much stress. Once sewn correctly, they should last longer than the garment. I took the repair to another cleaner, and I will never again return to this business.

NEGATIVE experience. The Asian manager is a SCUMBAG. I bought in a dress that needed alteration on the bottom. It cost $ 28. I picked it up and the dress was so long, it was on touching the ground. He BLAMEDME because the dress was longer in the back and I did not know that. HEBLAMEDME because they did a LOUSYJOB. THENHEWANTSTOCHARGEME for $ 18. to do it again. I have never in my life been treated so AWFUL — I experience a NASTYATTITUTE. DONOTSUPPORTTHESEJERKS! I hope they go out of business. They are THESCUMOFTHEEARTH. It’s okay — this place deserves whatever karma they get. I should have gone on to research this place first but I didn’t. NOW I SEEALLTHENEGATIVEREVIEWS!!!

Funny story: Was house-sitting nearby and slept over on the homeowner’s extra nice sheets. When I went to bed the second night, I saw what appeared to be dried blood stains where I would have laid the night before and panicked, thinking I had scratched a scab or something in the night and bled all over the ultra luxe sheets! Took the sheets to Jo and asked them to remove the stain. The man helping me asked if it was a fresh stain and, believing it was mine and I’d only been there two nights, I said, «yes!». When I returned that afternoon, he had the sheets spotless but shook his head regarding the freshness of the stains. «They had to have been a week or more old, based on the amount of scrubbing it took!» he stated. Sure enough, after doing a little research, I learned the stains were already there when I arrived to stay over and I just hadn’t noticed them! Moral of the story? Nice work, Jo Quality, for getting old blood stains out of some super-luxe sheets… and saving my hide(even though — come to find out — it wasn’t in danger!)!

Jo’s is right around the corner from me, so it’s a perfect drop off point when I’m heading to work. They do a decent job and price is average. I do agree with the review below that the amount of packaging they use is absurd, but otherwise, not a bad spot.

I’m really upset right now and probably should give this place 1 star. I want to be eco-friendly and all that BS, so I go to this ORGANIC dry cleaning place to save the world, right? Well, I get my 2 sweaters and skirt back, and they look fine — pretty standard stuff. At home, I take them out of their bags(and all the other wasteful products they’re wrapped in) and discover that my really nice work skirt has been PINNED to the hanger! They took big pins and pierced my lovely new skirt! Now my clean new skirt has 4 noticeable holes in the top! grrrr! Should I go ask for a refund or something because I paid $ 7.25 for that skirt to be cleaned and pierced??? One sweater cost $ 7.75 and the other one(which had beading and fish sauce all over it) cost $ 10.25. I was totally ripped off. The wash and fold is done off site, btw.
