Dr. Friedman is great. He’s extremely knowledgeable. He gets down to business without making you feel rushed. His staff is very helpful and courteous. I’d certainly recommend him to anyone who needed an oral surgeon.
The only negative remarks I have are that, as a professor at Cornell, I had a resident perform a biopsy on me rather than Dr. Friedman who was there supervising. I don’t think it had any impact on the procedure, but I felt like I should mention it in the interest of completeness.

I recently saw Dr. Friedman to have 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed and he was great! He is very knowledgeable and professional, but maintained a humorous and casual rapport.
Dr. Friedman explained everything thoroughly and made sure all my questions were answered. Though my surgery was estimated by the nurse to take about an hour, I was finished and awake (from full sedation) in 35 or 40 minutes. Dr. Friedman was so nice, he even offered to adopt me when my father wasnt back in time to pick me up!
Post-​op I have had no problems. My mouth is healing beautifully and I can finally eat real food again! I definitely recommend Dr. Friedman for your oral or maxillofacial surgery.
