Dr. Olivieri’s made the move from Brooklyn to Manhattan. The new address is by the WTC at 139 Fulton Street(between Broadway and Nassau). He also has another location in Midtown East(139 East 36th in Murray Hill between Park and Lexington). Since he’s moved to the city, he has a more competent staff including a Physician’s Assistant(PA) who can see you instead of Olivieri if it’s nothing urgent. The wait time is still a bit long to see either, but nothing like it used to be in his Brooklyn office. He no longer has a phlebotomist in his office. Dr. Olivieri is less harried now that he has his Manhattan office(s) and is, therefore, more accessible.

Évaluation du lieu : 2 Brooklyn, NY
I went to the doctor twice consecutively with a very specific complaint(knee pain), and he did not address it at all. Not even a little. Instead, he did full blood work, EKG, STI tests, etc. They all came back clean. While it was nice to know I was healthy in those area, that is NOT what I took time off from work for and it did not get me back in the gym/back on my bike/etc. The wait times are absolutely insane, and the doctor has no consideration for the lives of his patients. His office will routinely schedule appointments at, say, 9:30am and the doctor will come rolling in at 10:20 — 10:45. By then, there’s a huge buildup of unhappy patients who haven’t been seen. Both times I went, my face time with the doctor was right around ten minutes. The first visit, I waited two-and-a-half hours. The second time, I waited nearly four! What should have been missing an hour of work twice, instead necessitated taking a half-day off for the initial visit, and full day for the follow-up! Because of his lack of respect and consideration for the schedules of other people, I’ll have to cut my holiday plans short this year, spending less time with my family — and for nothing! Since he never even addressed the issue I went to see him about in the first place! In fact, I have to make yet ANOTHER doctor’s appointment, missing MORE work to get it addressed by a doctor who gives a damn, since he never did anything about it in the first place! Additionally, the doctor prescribed me medication not covered by my plan. I attempted to call the office to get the prescription changed to an alternative that is covered. After leaving literally a dozen messages(I called once daily) without a single callback, I finally gave up. I don’t know if his rude behavior has simply trickled down to his staff, or if they’re as naturally ill-mannered as he is, but it would have taken one to two minutes at most to call me back. That is not how your retain clients in any business. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Olivieri to my worst enemy. The only reason I’m not giving him 1 star is a.) he’s not outright rude b.) he didn’t harm or injury me in any way. High standards, those.
