Poor customer service. Juetta was great. Her daughter left me with a customer service experience that still leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

I own three pairs of men’s sandals from Jutta. They are the best purchases I’ve ever made and the things I own that get the most compliments.
Jutta makes the highest quality sandals (none of the beautiful brass nails have wiggled their way out and the leather hasn’t dried out or cracked after years of wear and no oiling or conditioning on my part).
She stands behind her product (after you’ve stretched out the straps your first season of wearing them in, she will disassemble them, tighten and trim the leather, and reassemble)
And her prices for add-​ons are fair (she will resole them once you’ve worn the leather too far with elegant thin rubber soles that don’t detract from the sandal style and even adds a little heel piece since heels often wear fastest, for only $ 35 last I checked).
Jutta is proof that impeccable service and quality products make for happy customers and referrals. I can’t tell you how many people to whom I’ve raved about Jutta. So much free publicity!
She is proof that buying local is worth it and that you will be rewarded with years of use for spending a little extra money on something handmade instead of something cheap from a factory. And if you’re used to paying designer prices it’s no more expensive! And you bet your life you aren’t going to get Michael Kors or Miucci Prada to maintain your investment for you and extend its life! Sorry sucker will be the reply from most companies!
In life you truly get what you pay for.

The leather smells real nice. And the designs are appealing and simple. And, just like the next girl/​guy, I like to buy from local producers some of the time.
