Really friendly staff, great coffee, and a delicious cookie. Recomended.

If I’m paying 4.75~ for a coffee, I want to know that it will be good. As it is, I’ve only had a good cup of coffee here when it’s been made by one barista(i didn’t catch her name, but believe she might have had dark shortish hair, whoever you are, thank you girl!) I can’t rationalize recommending this place when any other time I’ve felt like I’ve paid too much for a coffee I should have just made at home. I would like to update this review, if you guys will better your quality control, because when it’s good, I would certainly give this place 4 – 5 stars.

I love their backyard and their coffee. Occasionally there is a wait for a drink in the morning but the staff is friendly and the drinks are great. This is going to be my summer jam for sure.

The place is amazing!!! It’s got that old school/country/wooden look to it. The vibe is very calm and relaxing. I got the iced americano and loved it! A must try is the vegan cream cheese, now I’m not vegan but Jesus is soooo gooood!!! The only thing I didn’t like was the girl by the registers she’s not friendly at all and doesn’t listen to your order so she can’t repeat it or won’t know what you order. Other than that it’s amazing a must see I so want to give you five stars but I can’t the service wasn’t that good…

First time good. Chai. Second time sloowwww. Drip coffee. Third time, she’s out of drip coffee and acts surprised. Did you forget it emptied in the another customers cup? It’s Saturday, you probably are about to get off work but I kinda really wanted some coffee. Get off your butt, stop being your own best customer and playing on your phone and perhaps you’d remember that you were out. Meh.

This is my go to local coffee shop. They’ve got a quality coffee offering, friendly baristas, and a warm inviting atmosphere. I usually go for the cold brew and a savory pastry. Great spot for the community

I come here all the time, me and my dog. Nice little bench outside to sit on and chill and nice backyard area to do the same thing. Staff is always friendly. When I first lost my dog they actually let me put up posters inside and were helping me stay positive. I love them for their iced chai latte and their warm apple cider. I even come here sometimes even when I’m not getting anything just to relax and be in a calm environment.

Great little café, really tasty bagels generously spread with cream cheese. It’s a great stop when I’m on the way to the J train! Very friendly, neighborhood vibe from both the customers and the staff.

Love this place. It’s right around the corner from me so it’s convenient but even if it weren’t, I would still come back for their really good coffee. The vibe is always really chill and cozy and the baristas are really friendly.

«Keepin it chill» I love this place. I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon to do some work and the work space/environment is fantastic. It is quiet enough to do work but not so quiet that you feel an angry librarian will toss you out for being too loud. I loved the«rustic» vibe of the furniture in the back of the shop. I will say that the place may be a little too dark for some people, especially once the sun goes. down. The prices are pretty standard; you will not feel like you are being ripped off purchasing a café americano. I definitely will be back. I just wished that the place stayed open a little later.

Great coffee, great décor, great aura, amazing people! I can’t help, but smile while here and you don’t get that from chain coffee shops.

Kava Shteeble is this rustic and super hip coffee shop, serving ample amounts of delicious brewed coffee at great prices. Some delicious(Vegan) pastries too. The décor is super cute. The owner built all the tables himself with wood pieces he found. And they have a great big backyard for the summer time. I know they also have music gigs by local artists some evenings. If you need a quiet place to work or study in the Bushwick area, this is the place to be.

This is the best coffee shop I have found, the coffee taste so good and fresh, I try to go here slot since they have the best coffee in my opinion. This café is really clean and the service is really fast. I definitely recommend this café to anyone who loves good coffee.

Came here to try and work on some writing and sketching on a rainy day. The atmosphere is nice, but it was so dark! The back area felt really dungeon-like and it was difficult to look at my bright laptop screen and simultaneously see the paper in front of me as I sketched. There were also two music sources playing at the same time – top 40 up front and goofy 70s records in the back; it was sorta distracting. I had a drip coffee and almond croissant. Both were so-so. I think the coffee was Brooklyn Roasting Company which I’m not a fan of(too acidic, sharp). The croissant was kind of oily and stale. Oh well. At least the servers were all nice and there was ample seating and tables. It does seem like it’d be a decent place to work on a brighter day, and I’m sure if I go back I would enjoy the teas they offer(blood orange sounded good to me), but this spot is not really in my usual radius of Bed Stuy so I’m not sure I’d go out of my way to get over here.

Why go anywhere else for a croissant? The fiancé and I decided to explore some new coffee jam spots and he honed in on this one. We came across it easily and were particularly impressed with the design using the reclaimed wood! Nice! We ordered a large Cold Brew and the Chocolate Almond croissant to stay. We sat down while the croissant warmed up and was hand delivered by the barista. We enjoyed the croissant as it was creamy chocolatey and decadent for 9:30AM! The iced coffee a huge value for the large. Ambiance: Ample chill and work spaces but the AC is in the front. Overall a great addition to the neighborhood and we will be back maybe once or twice a week!

Day 2 of being here and still pleased! Had to dip as I was meeting the cable guy — I had a hot chocolate with vanilla almond croissant. Heavenly.

Kava Shteeble is a quick place to grab a coffee on the go during the week and a wonderful place to spend your mornings on the weekends. It’s the hippest place in Bedstuy, in my opinion. Their furnishings are made of reclaimed wood. They had just opened the back and yard not too long ago, and it looks like a studio set up for a vintage photo shoot. KS’ coffee is simple and delicious. The iced latte is my favorite. Another favorite would be the cheddar chive biscuit. It is simply ‘da bomb.’ I live a couple of blocks away from here and I visit almost every day. Oh, and the employees are downright awesome.

A very nice quiet atmosphere to enjoy a cup of quality coffee, espresso or whatever your coffee/tea drink of choice. The staff is calm and friendly preparing drinks with all necessary speed but not in rush. Looking forward to enjoying the expansion to the back room and the back yard when the weather gets warmer. I highly recommend Kava Shteeble for its service, quality and ambiance.

Delicious coffee, very hip place. The pastries are fresh and tasty, taste like they’re straight from France. The only annoying thing is that they have those cheap takeaway lids that you have to rip to sip from and which never stick in the tab. But in saying at, I would still get takeaway coffee from there because it’s delicious. The guy serving us was very friendly and helpful as well. There are a few tables in there, they don’t serve meals, just drinks and something to peck at
