I got engaged last night!!! My ring is STUNNING!!!
I was referred to Mr. Weisner by my cousin and his wife. My boyfriend and I went to see him together and we left feeling soo confident and excited! Mr. Weisner helped us create a masterpiece.
I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

I came here yesterday with my dad who was eager to find a ring to propose to his girlfriend but was on a tight budget. We had first gone to some fancy shop on the corner of 5^th and when my dad told him his price range the woman was rude and inconsiderate so we left and came across K&W Jewelers which happened to be my initials so we went in. The feel of this place is cozy a nice family run spot with the owner present and both employees were more than helpful. They worked with my dad and his budget and even had the exact type of ring he was looking for. What was great about this place was that they can do almost anything to change a ring around to fit your preference and the saleswoman was very nice allowing me to try on rings when I wasn’t looking to buy. The salesman took down the price for us to match my dads budget and even had it sized in about an hour. We were more than pleased with this place and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, family run jeweler with class and compassion. Thanks K&W!

I have been an avid purchaser of diamonds for years and Phil and Maria are excellent!!! Having searched for months for the perfect engagement ring, I finally saw a setting I liked, unfortunately it was very important to me to wear my engagement and wedding rings on the same hand and the setting I admired precluded this. Enter the amazing group at K and W. i bought a stunning diamond from them and Phil custom made my ring keeping all the elements of the ring I admired and created a masterpiece. Also I feel it is important to note the workmanship is excellent, the interior metal polishing is wonderful and the diamond setting work is equally top of the line. All in all a stunning ring.

After walking through the diamond district on 47^th I felt as if I had just run through a gauntlet. There are only so many pushy foreign men with bad breath that I can handle before I lose my shit. I had given up for the moment and decided to grab a drink when I happened to walk by K&W. It looked clean and classy from the outside and it was a breath of fresh air to walk inside.
Alex was simply relaxing and straight forward and I felt instantly comfortable. He actually took the time to listen to me and made great recommendations. My fiancé absolutely loves her engagement ring and the whole K&W team makes her feel special when she stops by periodically to get it cleaned (they offer that for free). We’ve gone back now to purchase all the rings for the wedding through Alex. Phil, the owner, adds a very personal «family» touch to the whole experience. He’s great to work with and they have all been a very pleasant and important part of this engagement period.
I get the impression that their business model is based on building relationships first and selling diamonds second. Whatever it is, it works for me.

I had such a lovely experience getting my engagement ring at K&W. My finance and I had been recommended to go here for our ring by a family member and I am so delighted that we did. I didn’t know a lot about diamonds before getting the ring, but I did know exactly what style I was looking for. Maria was so helpful and gave me a tutorial on diamonds explaining cut and clarity etc. She spent as much time as I needed selecting an actual diamond in our price range and then we discussed settings. I had always wanted a vintage setting and they custom made a beautiful vintage style setting for me that I had given them a photograph of. We were not living in NYC at the time and Maria kept me updated by email about the progress of my ring and sent me photos. I was so pleased when I received my ring, it was exactly to the specification that I wanted and even nicer than I imagined. At no point in the store did we feel pressured or that we were being ripped off. This is a lovely small family run store and I would highly recommend for anyone to purchase their engagement ring here. We will definitely be back for our wedding bands! Thanks K&W!

I went on a recommendation and was looking for a new wedding ring. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted and felt like I was of no help to Ronnie K. who was generously helping me. Being from Texas, the NY diamond district is as far away from home as it gets, but he made me feel at home. I was very ignorant about jewelry terms, stones etc. We chatted and he finally asked me about my existing ring. I told him that I didn’t like it and why. He then proposed the best solution ever… design a few changes that would make the ring prettier, the stone more beautifully displayed and add a wedding band in matching diamonds. As luck would have it, he had the band that matched in a case!!! How lucky is that? He described what he would do with the ring and the main diamond… which is a pretty decent princess cut stone. So, I leave my ring there with him and his talent.
When the ring was delivered (to Texas) it was BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE IT. I did not know that this ring could be so pretty. The diamond actually looks better in this setting AND the ring no longer gets caught on everything. I receive so many compliments on it and am happy that I did not have to get a new wedding ring.
Now if I can ever get the drawing just right on the next ring I want, I will send it to him and have a ring made!
Wonderful people, wonderful talent! You cannot go wrong at this jeweler. Ask for Ronnie… he will make you fee right at home.

I went here for my wife’s engagement ring and their service is second to none. They are all extremely honest, fair and over the top accommodating when it comes to purchasing jewelry. They made me feel extremely comfortable during an experience that can be stressful. I was so pleased with their service that my wife and I also purchased our wedding bands there which we love as well. The service is great and I strongly recommend this store to anyone looking for jewelry.

AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
The owner Ronny is the rudest most obnoxious, condescending person I have ever dealt with. Went in on a recommendation to get a ring sized and setting checked on an engagement ring and he wouldn’t work on it. Called the ring c**p which upset my fiancé greatly since it has tremendous sentimental value and means a lot to us. Needless to say it made me feel bad too because I went to great lengths to get this ring from abroad where she fell in love with it. I couldn’t believe someone would be such an… well this is a family site so I will reframe from using the language I really want to, and be so insensitive. Could have easily just said since I didn’t make it I don’t feel comfortable working on it and left it there. He was also argumentative and dismissive. In this day and age in this economy, you would think you would appreciate the business since there are 100s of places to go. I would not step foot in this store if they were giving away their jewelry for free.

It’s hard finding the perfect ring in general. It’s harder when hours don’t work for business professionals and service lags. That is not the case at Kestenbaum and Weisner!
I found them after spending days looking and finally another nice jeweler referred me to them as he did not have engagement rings. That tells you already about their reputation. Philip and the rest of staff went out of there way to give me the time and information I needed to make an informed decision. Their warm and genuine care was the icing on the cake. Not to mention, I needed it last minute as I was proposing at Dodger Stadium in front of everyone in days of buying the ring. Well it all worked out perfectly and my fiancé loves the ring! And we have a ring and a video to prove it:

My husband bought my engagemenr ring here. While I love the ring it’s poorly made, the diamonds aren’t the same size (and I was told by two other jewelers that they should be) and the owner (Kestenbaum) was not very nice when I pointed that out after the ring was purchased. It’s no bargain either. Be careful when buying at these 47^th Street shops, it’s easy to get decent prices on crappy jewelry.

If you’re shopping for the rock, look no further. Anyone who has even casually glanced at jewelry in Manhattan’s diamond district knows that it’s like walking through a bazaar in Calcutta. K&W is a refreshing alternative. I found them to be honest, straightforward, and fair. Most of the other places I went to I just felt that I was dealing with a used car salesman, but I instantly trusted the guys at K&W. They were recommended to me by a family member who had an equally positive experience, and I recommend them to everyone else.
