We have a small garden between our building and the front building in lower Manhattan, and getting the most out of our space is challenging. We have used Kevin and another gardener over the last several years, and Kevin is the one! He has an idea of what plants will do well in our setting, where ambient light is a challenge.
When we moved in, our garden was beautiful in the summer but a desert in the winter and Kevin helped us to find the right mixture of plants to have beauty 12 months a year.

He is extremely knowledgeable about plants that will perform well under all sorts of circumstances — I appreciate his consultative style as I have my own criteria (water needs, butterfly-​friendliness). He’s chosen beautiful plants and trees for me when he’s done the shopping and he’s also transplanted many of my existing plants. He’s always been timely, communicative, and tidy.
