I grew up in Virginia so I have had my fair share of fried chicken and comfort food. Overall this hole in the wall is delicious. The Matzo fried chicken is incredible and the bisgels with honey butter are an awesome twist on biscuits. I’m a poor judge of latkes but they were crispy and golden on the outside and tender on the inside – like a really good hashed brown. There is some seating, but this is more of a lunch counter or take out joint. The only problem we had was that we had a big group and it was very very unclear just how much food came with the«family platter for 4 – 5 people» of matzo chicken and even with persistent asking nobody seemed to know just how many pieces of chicken we would be getting. Overall the food is great but the service is spotty.
