KLARA Beauty Lab

I had a very nice experience at Klara Beauty Lab, predominantly because Klara herself is so nice. She did not try to upsell me on any products or gimmicks, despite the fact that I walked into her «lab» sight unseen. My goal was to get the best treatment for my skin type upon consultation, as opposed to blindly picking from a menu of options. This was important because I am getting married within the year and want my skin looking its best on the «big day.» I much preferred getting the right treatment versus what I thought made sense on paper.
For the next days following, my skin looked great, and I am making a concerted effort to follow Klara’s instructions to keep up its appearance and improve overall tone. In fact, these instructions were rather simple: change pillowcases more often, drink more water, and take a vitamin C supplement. Indeed, nothing about her ‘suggestions’ were product-​related, but rather, were good, healthy habits that anyone can employ.
As far as price is concerned, there is little else you can expect considering the length of the service (approx. 2 hours), the care with which Klara treats your skin, and the location of her ‘lab’. This is not middle-​of-​nowhere America, it is Manhattan – land where $ 3,000+ a month gets you a broom closet for an apartment. Getting a facial is a luxury item, and as such, has a luxury price tag. Alternate expectations are mildly amusing.
I look forward to my next appointment, and continuing to improve my skin.

I got a Lash Lift with Klara today. Klara was an absolute sweetheart! She made me feel 100% comfortable because she knew I was a little nervous at first about the procedure. But I soon felt very at ease and calm. Klara was able to answer all of the questions I had. I cannot get over how nice she was! She is very passionate about what she does, and she is so intelligent. The lash lift itself took about 45 minutes. It was completely painless and actually relaxing! The results were WOW. I couldn’t believe these are my natural lashes! They look amazing. I will be back! I’ve been seeing Klara since she opened and happened upon her spa around the corner — I now regularly fly 1200 miles for her facials. Hands down best skin care experience — and I’ve had them all from medical spas and dermatologists in NYC and Palm Beach. My skin has never been better. Beyond Klara’s facials, I have all my botox and dermal fillers at Klara Beauty Lab.
Best of all Klara makes your experience special; it’s an incredibly warm and relaxing environment. If you don’t see Klara you are truly missing out!

I am a new client to Klaras beauty Lab and first of all the professionalism from Klara and staff is simply the best. I am beyond happy with the results with my skin with just having 1 deep cleaning facial. She really takes her time & is compassionate about her work. Very flexible with scheduling is a huge Plus. I have been going to Klara for almost two years now and I always can’t wait to come back. She is one of the most professional, gracious, and kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing work with. She is always accommodating to my busy schedule when I do make it in to the city and I always walk away feeling so fabulous and beautiful.
I have tried to get a lash lift from other people in Los Angeles many times and no one even compares to the work and after-​care Klara provides. I have always been hesitant about getting facials because I hear you can get red after the extractions, but I walked out of Klara’s absolutely glowing. And I never really took care of my skin until she gave me a daily regiment to do morning and night. I now receive so many compliments on my skin, and on my lashes when I have them done.
Most importantly Klara cares about you as her customer. This is not some facility where you can come and go and forget about your service. Klara cares about her business, the work she provides for you, and your skin’s well-​being. I promise you will be crawling back as soon as you can and trying all her other services. :)

My girlfriend and I live in Los Angeles where there are plenty of «world class» beauty labs from which to choose. None of them compare to Klara’s beauty spa.
Klara is knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, genuine. She cares about her clients on a personal level and is passionate about helping others improve their skin’s longevity and health.

This is one of my first Unilocal posts, but I felt it was the right thing to do. Klara is terrific. You can feel free to reach out to me or to validate my input, but there is nothing but 5 star class and service when it comes to Klara. I only went because I read other reviews that sounded strong and what I didn’t want was some cookie cutter facial that you could get at any chain beauty spa and really not feel different. Well Klara delivered, and then some. My skin looks so much more even and smooth, and just clear, no more dull skin. I couldn’t even keep track of all of the different treatments I received, and then got an unexpected neck/​shoulder/​arm massage that was out of this world. Yes, she is expensive, but its your face. If you are going to spend money on something then put down that sweater and invest in your skin. I know I am going to be going back, and I can’t wait.

I just left Klara’s and had her special facial in preparation for my daughter’s wedding on Saturday. It was a lovely experience. My skin looks gorgeous. The small, immaculate spa was charming and Klara was lovely. I felt safe that I wouldn’t come out red and blotchy with only days until the big day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Klara. I have no idea what everyone is talking about in these reviews. No one tried to sell me anything. I bought the Unilocal discount on my own. I knew how much it cost going in. If you don’t want a quality service, don’t pay for one. This facial was worth the price. I will definitely go back!

I went to klara a few times, first for her well know facial, the result was beyond fantastic!
First of all I felt really welcomed in her spa from the moment I ring at the door to the moment I left, I got so many compliment on my skin.
I went back for few of her services and I haven’t been disappointed!
It’s my favorite spa in the city and recommended her to many of my friends who know are using her and can’t to talking about how nice, funny, and fantastic she is!

Update after looking at a recent comment questioning if the positive reviews were genuine.
I was not offered anything to write a good review. After I wrote my review I sent an email telling Klara I wrote it. She immediately wrote me a warm thank you. A week later one of her staff thanked me again and offered me a discount on a future facial as a thank you. This was perfectly appropriate and very professional. There was no suggestion of an exchange for a positive review before, during or after my session.

Klara complete facial has changed the way I think about skincare. I’m glowing and my pores are smaller. She takes care of every detail and makes you feel so comfortable and at home.

I absolutely loved Klara’s signature facial and would highly recommend it.
It was customized to my needs and it was simply perfect to me. The facial lasted for 2 hours and included amazing Reiki, Sonotherapy, Chromotherapy, and Aromatheraphy elements that make you feel so relaxed and pampered you do not want to leave. Klara’s facial is excellent and worth the price (I cannot believe that someone from the recent review complained about the price for Klara’s signature facial! The facial is absolutely one of a kind and worth every penny!). Also, I have to add that Peter from Klara’s staff will warmly welcome you in the lab and will make sure you feel comfy and relaxed. Let me start by letting everyone know Klara is running a Unilocal promo. If you give her a good review, she will «draw» a free facial every month. I’d like to see who has actually gotten one. I wonder how many of these reviews are true. Although it was a thorough facial, I don’t think it was $ 275 worth! With taxes and the tip they demanded and the product that was shoved down my throat, I felt a bit gouged walking out of there $ 400 later. If you don’t mind dropping that kind of money, it’s a good facial.

The atmosphere of Klara Beauty Lab is phenomenal. The service was excellent. The facial and Novolash were worth every penny. Will be returning on a regular basis!

I purchased a Gilt voucher to have a facial with Klara and it was worth every penny. I’ve never had a facial with someone so knowledgeable about skincare. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, from hydrodermabrasion to ampule application and masks. It was as if she knew my skin better than I did! The service was completely customized to my skin issues, and because she did LED light therapy at the end, I left without any redness at all.
I can’t say enough how much I appreciated not having a «standard» facial with the aesthetician just going through the motions. The whole experience was relaxing and educational. Klara is really one of a kind.

Definitely the best facial I have ever had! I went a few weeks ago and my skin is still glowing. The facial was 2 hours long and so relaxing.
After the facial, Klara recommended a few products to help with my skin. She was not a sales person who tried to push expensive products on me, which I appreciated.
The facial is a little pricy, but worth every penny. I already booked my next one!

Klara Beauty Lab indeed is «Woohoo! As good as it gets!». When you step foot into the posh, elite location you instantly feel like you’re a A-​list celebrity! Definitely one of the best facials I ever had done. Beyond phenomenal service. And my favorite part was I didn’t leave looking like a monster (like after most facials), instead my skin was healed and rejuvenated and I could carry on with my day without having to worry about people seeing my post-​facial look. I love Klara and her gorgeous Beauty Lab, and cannot wait to visit again. :)

Went for the first time early last month & had a good experience. Klara & her staffs are super friendly and very customer oriented! I like that they don’t try to sell you anything, they just let you know about their options/​services, which makes it comfortable for future returns.

I purchased a Gilt City voucher for her complete facial and my skin has never looked so beautiful! I usually get a basic facial and pay a similar price, never again! :)
Her lab is beautiful, she is absolutely fantastic and very interested in your skin. I had pourous, sensitive skin and my fine lines were starting to get deeper from the Summer sun. After our session, I have found my skin is less pourous, a consistent soft texture, and any red marks temporarily subsided.
