Paid $ 8 for a burnt grilled cheese sandwich. Nice location, good music.

Made the trek to this place to try out their pierogies – somehow, they had no pierogies or veggie burgers(what my friend wanted). If all I needed was a hot dog, I could have gone to one of the million hot dog stands throughout the park.

I like that they are pet friendly and that it’s outdoors in a beautiful part of the park. The food is basic but actually quite good for a café. Selection isn’t too bad either. The coleslaw is so good. They make a great chicken cutlet sandwich and a generous turkey and swiss melt. They do accept credit cards. On busy days like weekends you order, grab a number that u place on your table and they bring the food to you. There’s also a small live jazz band weekends during brunch hours. I love to sit here. Its so relaxing.

Knishes! Sweet potato knishes! So very good. And we thought that Knish Nosh went out of business, but were delighted to find out that they just moved to a better location! Now that I know where they are, its going to be hard not to stop by for Knishes!

I’m a FAN! Simple, small little hut with cheap drinks, affordable snacks and a friendly staff! «The Boss» guy was super nice and gave me a free mini drink for recognizing a bottle he had in his bar. Got two drinks and a bagel for under $ 12 which is VERY reasonable for NYC. When it started to rain the staff pulled out umbrellas for the tables for everyone — very cool of them. GREAT view of all the motorized boats. Peaceful. Bring a date or out of town visitors, they will enjoy.

Adjacent to the Kerbs Boathouse at Conservatory Water(the sailboat pond) in Central Park, near E. 75 Street @ 5th Ave. is Knish Nosh, serving items from beer and wine to iced coffee, espresso and even pierogi. Prices are what you would expect for a Central Park vendor, especially one with so much outdoor seating offering a perfect, tranquil view of the sailboat pond and the Hans Christian Anderson story teller statue, but have the pierogi. The gigantic stuffed pierogi with a mound of caramelized onions on top. A bargain at $ 5 a plate and overly-filling. Knish Nosh is also a morning favorite of the neighborhoods for their homemade pastries, cereals and bagels. Iced coffees as well as hots are good and strong with prices on par with Starbucks. Yes, not cheap, but then again it’s Central Park. Try this little snack stand while walking through the park on any given day or even if you’re on the UES near 5th& the mid to high 70s. You can’t go wrong and they offer a little something for everyone.
