I received a last minute invite to Preakness and didn’t have a hat. In a state of panic because I read that «hats» were a must for women, I went to Kokin because it was close to my house. Nicole was amazing. She was patient and funny but most of all, she knows her hats and what looks good. After trying on many pretty hats, I opted for a hat that she showed me from another location and I knew it would be perfect. Next day, the hat was in the store and after debating about the purchase for one hour, I bought the hat. It was a winner! I received so many compliments at Preakness. Thank you again Nicole for everything!!!

I bought two headpieces, a flower crown and a turban with rhinestones. Worn them both and I love them! Kokin is FANTASTIC. You cannot find a better selection in America. I looked! Ask him to show you his unique pieces. He is an artist and knows his stuff.

a great store with a fantastic hat collection, ranging from classic to absolutely out of this world eccentric and fabulous. No nonsense attitude, very helpful staff if you mean business. I am very happy to have found them, as I have previously bought a few Kokin hats at Barney’s before. they are attention-stoppers without being over the top. i bought an absolutely outstanding, one of a kind hat in the boutique 2 weeks ago, and going back for 2 more today. And I have no idea what Miss A is unhappy about — they didn’t sell her a hat? really?

When I walked in I was so enthralled with the store & its glorious hat selection. Unfortunately the feeling was not mutual and I was politely shooed out of the store.
Some sort of «ism» was at play here. Maybe racism. Maybe classism. Jeez alls I wanted was a hat. No need to treat me like Eliza Doolittle.

PITA need not apply! This is an absolutely gorgeous collection of fur hats and scarves. Although being known for women’s apparel, there are definitely hats that men can wear as well as fur headbands if one so desires. This is a hautely faught war (get it?) so I will let you make you decision to wear it or not… If you would like to, head up town for a look.
