La Mode Organic Cleaners

This is a very unprofessional place. I recently had my 3^rd bad episode with them (over a period of less than 4 months) and I have finally decided to stop going to this place and to write a review describing my experiences:
Bad Episode 1: They damaged one of my items and claimed they had nothing to do with it.
Bad Episode 2: They lost one of my items and denied it.
Bad Episode 3: They lost another of my items and got mad at me because it was the second time I complained about them loosing items! Unbelievable!
I am 100% sure they lost my item. I was wearing it right before personally bringing in my laundry to La Mode. I took it off, placed in the laundry bag and brought it to them. When I picked up my stuff it was missing.
To make matters worse, they are rude and have no sense of customer service.

Wow. This place is outstanding. It’s cheap, it’s ORGANIC, the service is amazing, and they do a beautiful job. I’m blown away.
I had about 10 pieces that had been gathering dust on my closet floor, including a pair of white pants with coffee stains all over them, a grungy jacket that I had dry cleaned before but still remained grungy and some other stained and gross articles. The friendly guy behind the desk said he could get all of it out (with a ‘maybe’ on the white pants). When I returned, he remembered my face before me even showing him my ticket and everything — and I mean everything — was immaculate. Perfection. Like new. I am so annoyed at all the money i wasted at other dry cleaners in the village. this place is the BEST. And, to top it all off…
IT is CHEAP and without the crazy harsh chemicals! I am in love.

Have been getting my laundry done here for the past year and a half (wash and fold). It has gotten increasingly worse… My laundry used to smell good when it came back and now it just smells like they wash the clothes with water – no detergent. The guy who works there is pretty rude and always up-​sells, you see him weigh the bag of laundry and he always adds a pound or two. They also supposedly close at 7 but they are never open past 6:30 and I have had some issues picking up my «same day» laundry where he told me to come back by 7 and was closed before I got there.

I don’t really have many things to dry clean. I do have the occasional shirt and jacket. I had a bad experience with tailoring and dry cleaning at a spot near my apartment. I found this place a block from my office. The staff there are really friendly and the prices are low. They even give you a 20% discount everytime you visit. Even on your first one.
