Learning Express Toys

I came to return one item and they were not going to give me my money back … Instead they gave me store credit with out asking or informing me when I challenged it and said that I wanted a refund (for unopened merchandise with original receipt) they said I needed to come back during the week to talk to a manger because the policy is they only give store credit. Meanwhile, the person next me got a refund to his original form of payment while I was standing right next to him witnessing the whole thing. After pressing the issue (which is so unnecessary) and pointing out what I just saw they decided I could get my money back… Not so much about the money but about the fact they lied straight to my face saying they do not do returns. If you do not do returns you should say so before the person makes a purchase and clearly state it on the receipt. This is a Children’s store, children constantly get multiples of the same presents requiring returns periodically. I personally will never step foot in this tourist trap again. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Staff is very friendly especially the lady at the front desk/​checkout. The toy selection is very interesting for me as a parent, choosing for my kids.

I was conflicted as to how many stars to give this store. There is a relatively small quantity of merchandise, however it’s good quality for the most part. However, you can find these brands elsewhere without having to deal with the staff. I don’t want to point a finger at all of the staff because I believe I interacted with the owner. She was absolutely horrible, snooty and downright mean. I tried to return 2 toys only 2 weeks after purchasing them (the return policy is 30 days). First the owner or staff member told me that I had to get a store credit, that is incorrect and I said no. Then she tried to say I had opened the toys. I absolutely had not, and a slightly upscale toy store like this should never blame the customer. Then she started whining about how she could not sell the toys again, to my face. Let’s be clear, I had NOT opened the toys and there was only a small scrap on 1 box which was barely noticeable. I finally did receive my money back, but I do not recommend going to this store because the owner does not have the customer’s best interest in mind.
