Was able to grab a sandwich quickly as I headed to Penn Station to catch a train. Pretty tasty

The place itself is a bit of a mess, but the food is good. Overpriced(tourist trap area/Penn station) but close to the office so not bad at all.

I came here for lunch and I was quite happy with the food here. I got the chicken cheddar melt sandwich with a black and white cookie. It was reasonably priced and pretty quick service. However, the set up is a little chaotic. They need to have a little different set up with more chairs. Other than that, i was happy

I love this sandwich place, I have never been disappointed. My favorite is the Tuna Dijon you select your bread I prefer the Rye so what’s in it? So glad you asked its packed with tuna, cucumbers, alfalfa sprouts, carrots, tomatoes and Dijon mustard. Harmony! Another fave is the vegetarian which is packed with alfalfa sprouts, carrots, avocado, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, mixed sweet peppers, purple cabbage and honey mustard…, yummy

Staff is sooo rude!!! I would never eat here again. Refused to give me a cut of tap water after my $ 45 lunch order. Facility dirty and the were out of ciabatta bread. This store will be out of business shorty with such poor management and service.

Cashiers have a bit of an attitude. Also, crazy concept, but sometimes 2 people may have the same name. It’s your job to make sure that each party gets the correct meal. This is my second time getting a meal that isn’t mine because your cashiers failed to realize that there are two people named Matthew in the store at the same time.

You know when your heart is set on a choice of food or drink and you straight up bee-line to a specific place to get your fix? I was early for my train home the other day and had a reeeally random craving for a lemon iced tea from Lenwich. Okay, their iced tea isn’t out of this world by any means, but I was thirsty and was really in the mood for one. I stopped in and went straight to the counter to order. A young woman rang me up and paused for a second. I looked up to see her apologetic face, «Sorry! We’re all out! We have hot tea???» NOOOOO! So I asked if they had any other cold beverages. Went with Hazelnut iced coffee. The workers behind the counter were so sweet and totally understood my disappointment. They made sure I was okay with the cream and sugar level and apologized again for not having what I initially wanted. With the turn of events, admittedly this trip turned me into a fan of their hazelnut iced coffee! Depending on the line, I’ll attempt to stop in since it’s on my route to work.

Great location, TONS of yummy sandwich options, reasonable prices, and quick, courteous service. I came into the city for a day and skipped breakfast to catch an early train, and this is a perfect spot located right outside of Penn Station! I kept it simple and ordered a egg white sandwich on a bagel with a cup of coffee. There are plenty of other tempting breakfast options, and some awesome sounding wraps and sandwiches… Next time! Ordered at the counter, waited just a few minutes, and had my selection in less than 5 minutes. I was wishing I could have sat at one of their half a dozen or so tables, but several of them were occupied by workers on a break and/or messing with their phones. Not great timing for a breakfast rush… Luckily I was able to grab a window ledge seat, otherwise it’s all to go… There’s a courtyard with tables outside, so in warmer weather, there are more seating options. Friends met up with me later, and there was no room. This is a nice spot, but NOT a place to linger, which isn’t what we planned to do any way. For a quick breakfast/lunch, there are a ZILLION options in this area, and Lenwich is not a bad choice at all!

I saw a sign posted outside advertising a Fishwich so I got curious and went in to order it. I was not disappointed. The fillets of cod were thick and crispy. There was also coleslaw and potato chips along with lettuce and tomato. It was delish. There was a mixture of saltiness and sweetness in my mouth and I enjoyed it very much. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu.

I waited at the salad counter for close to 10 minutes on a Saturday morning while the six active employees I counted avoided me. Tried to get their attention, but I got the vibe that they all hoped someone else would help. I ended up walking out. The guy waiting behind me was smarter and gave up earlier. They all were busy doing other work, preparing orders, etc., but isn’t there a manager or some staff member that could at least help or let me know when I’d get helped? Really poor experience.

There’s nothing wrong with the Mama Mia, which features prosciutto, mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, arugula and peppers. But it did seem smallish for $ 10.49. I understand how this spot draws mid-day business in a high-density neighborhood with few food standouts, but tourists(even the local kind) would be better off going across the street to Pennsy or roaming a few blocks away.

Went here to grab a bite to eat for breakfast before heading off back to Boston. I was pretty hungry so I decided to get a spicy tuna wrap and an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. I have to say, I was a little disappointed that they had stopped serving any of their breakfast items at 11am on a Sunday. My wrap was decent – and jam packed with tuna. It was a little on the bland side in my opinion as I was really hoping for a nice spicy kick. The bagel was delicious, but I felt that the cream cheese was caked on a little too much and actually took away from the overall flavor. Overall, the service was friendly and the food was prepared quickly. Not a bad place to stop for a quick bite, but try to get there before 11 if you want any of the breakfast items.

I ordered a sandwich, 5 mnts later they told me they didn’t have turkey for the Thanksgiving sandwich. They offered deli meat, I said fine(I wasn’t thrilled). Then they come back 5 minutes later(this is my lunch hour diminishing by this wait). They didn’t have the turkey deli meat and therefore I would have to order a different sandwich. At that time I had to dwitch but who knows how this will taste. I didn’t even question the cost and I am not very happy about the whole experience. Manager said to come back of I don’t like it. But when?! Ugh not cool

Terrible bagels. How can you have a sandwich place in the heart of NYC and use bland, probably-shipped-in-from-Ohio, bagels? Rating is one star because there are enough sandwich places in NYC that you can probably just skip this one. Add a star if you’re in a hurry and don’t care how good your bagel is.

I used to come here often for their garden salads and C4 wrap. I stopped coming for awhile because they couldn’t get the order right and they started to get sloppy. I decided to return and order my C4. They changed the entire menu. Bummer.

I popped into Lenny’s for a quick breakfast over the weekend. I ordered a whole wheat bagel with egg and cheese. They cranked it out quickly. It was not the greatest egg and cheese bagel sandwich I have ever ordered, but it was pretty solid. Their bagels are definitely better than the corner deli. The space is bright and airy, with plenty of seating. Also, it is right next to Penn Station, which is makes it a good option over the offerings in the basement of MSG.

Sadly they used to be great. Now it takes almost an hour for delivery a block away and quality has gone down. Multiple tries and it’s always the same thing. Not worth it anymore. And if you have to change your order if something is not available. They do not credit you back any price difference. To this establishment it doesn’t matter if you lose money on your order.

Two stars. I never liked Lenny’s on Columbus Ave and thought I’d give their Penn Plaza location a try. My question is how can you ruin a simple salad? I actually got to watch how they do it, but that’s another essay. Said salad was extremely skimpy on chicken and anything else that mattered. I’d say it was also at least 20% more expensive than all those salad palaces in the area. And tasteless. Thanks, Lenny’s!

A colleague had raved to me about Lenny’s sandwiches for weeks, so when I saw there was one near Madison Square Garden, I decided to try it out. The cashier was extremely friendly, gave us an intro to Lenny’s, and helped us pick what to order. Prices are great for the size that you get. My boyfriend and I shared the honey BBQ and the buffalo chicken sandwiches. Loved both.

I ordered egg salad sandwich because it’s one of my favorites and I got a recommendation from a friend saying Lenny’s Sandwiches were very fresh and delicious. I ordered online for pick up; when I went to pick it up, an employee said to me, «we don’t carry egg salad. We had to make it specially for your order, so don’t order it next time.» Baffled I said, «well I ordered it online and it said it was available,» as she continued to say«Not in our location, only other locations.» I don’t understand because I ordered specifically from the Penn Plaza location. And what’s so wrong and bad about making egg salads per order? I have to say that the sandwich in fact was very very delicious and the Penn Plaza one is the only location near me so it’s unfortunate that I was told«don’t order it next time».

Local chain sandwich shop featuring a jolly apron-ed Korean chef lifting a giant sandwich. The food is quick, fresh, and offers a lot of variety. Prices are comparable for the area and fills you up. I prefer their hot sandwiches over their cold and have many options for each. I had the Fish’wich the other day and while fish is something that is often scary to order at a quick serve place, it was fresh and flaky and had a lot of flavor. The employees are also nice, courteous, and friendly.

Came here to grab a quick breakfast before jumping on the LIRR. I ordered an iced coffee with milk and sugar and a Western omelette wrap(I believe that was the name). Be careful when telling them to add sugar to your coffee because it just tastes like syrup after if you don’t say anything!!! If I had known it’d be that sweet, I woulda said no sugar. As much as I’d like to say my food was good, it was sooo spicy :(I was under the impression that it’d be a few jalapeños and some sriracha but nooo it was stuffed full and sriracha would drip out! Next time, I’ll go with another wrap(my friend got one that looked really good! first one I believe). My bf got a bacon and cheese omelette that comes with toast and potatoes. He said it was okay but nothing extraordinary. On top of everything, the wait for our food took a while! I suggest sticking with wraps because I think my bf’s omelette slowed it down.

I told myself I wouldn’t type a review for here but I think I need to. Today I decided that I didn’t want to venture too far from the office because I wasn’t feeling well and came across Lenny’s. I read about their sandwiches and decided I would try the TC(turkey and corned beef on rye). I must say it was pretty good. The service was fairly quick considering the location(midtown/msg) and the time(1 pm). The service was pretty good also. Staff was respectable, smiled and most importantly, got my order right. As I stated previously, I wasn’t feeling well. So I decided to take a chance on their chicken noodle soup. That was the big hit for me. I loved it! I was expecting a soup that was bare bones, but the broth was nice, I had ample amount of chicken and noodles. But what shocked me was there was celery and carrots in there also. Now would I go back for a sandwich? Lenny’s probably wouldn’t be my first choice if I wanted a customized sandwich as they charge for everything. But that soup… I think I may have to stop by there again soon.

Good place to get a sandwich near Penn Station. I ordered the Novie, they did not skimp on the lox, no capers but that is ok. It gets kind of busy but the service is fast. Great for grab and go, they do have some counter seating.

Tasty, decent portions, fresh ingredients, and no frills staff. I’d come here again if I was in a bind, i.e. needed something decent and quick, not fried. The prices are comparable to the neighborhood, so I’m not complaining there. When it comes down to it, Lenny’s is a typical deli with a corporate chain feel.

Place is on the pricey side for sandwiches(you’re basically looking at spending 9 bucks for the sandwich and 2 for a soda or drink). I would recommend getting one of their menu sandwiches that they put together and not get your sandwich customized(they pretty much charge for everything– cheese, etc). I got the lox sandwich(I think it was #9). Decent sized and they gave me enough lox that I was surprisingly full. The sandwich comes with tomatoes, onions, cream cheese, and lox(no capers — in case you want them, you might want to ask). I paid around $ 9. I would compare this place to panera and cosi(if you know what those are) — same type of place.

Three stars for the sandwich(#10 — turkey, corned beef, cole slaw), minus one star for overcharging me, and notable mention for a horrible ordering system. The cashiers were harping about a combo deal to every customer($ 9.99 for your sandwich if you add a Vitamin Water and a bag of chips), so I decided to go for it since(as the cashiers reminded me), the sandwich was going to be over $ 8 anyway. But when I went to pay, they inexplicably charged me $ 12 without the combo discount. I didn’t notice until I had left and compared receipts with a coworker who ordered a meal similar to mine, right down to the prices listed. He got his meal for $ 10 and they overcharged me. If you’re going to talk nonstop about the cost benefits of a combo, then make sure your cashiers know about it, or at least enforce it consistently. Other than that, the ordering system is stupid. You get on one line to order, then you get on another line to pay. Ideally, your sandwich will be ready for you by the time you’ve paid, but this isn’t always the case. And if the line is moving slowly, then your sandwich will be ready but you won’t be able to pick it up until you’ve paid for it. A lot of unnecessary waiting, especially if people don’t know the whole 3-line system. Even worse during lunch hour when it’s crowded. Not coming back.
