When I say the best customer service, I am not over exaggerating! They are very welcoming. A warm comfort and nice area. Food is extremely good. I Always go here. Definitely will recommend.

The stewed chicken was juicy tender. Lunch was only $ 6, came with white rice and two fried maduros, and the portion was substantial. No one was really waiting on my table, but the place was small so I just asked when I needed something. And they have happy hour deals on drinks and some apps from 3 – 7.

This is a great little eatery up by the Jumel Mansion in Sugar Hill. Your basic Dominican restaurant, it has all of a handful of small tables on the main floor by the bar, and a spiral staircase goes up to a handful more. Dinner up there would be intimate, indeed.
C. got some chicken with rice and beans (yellow and red), and I got a Cuban sandwich. They didn’t tell me they don’t make sandwiches on Saturdays («Not today. Tomorrow.») until they brought me chicken, rice, and beans, too. The language gap was more charming than disappointing, however.
$ 15 for the both of us. My Coke came in a can. Solid, simple food.
