Lido Room

I decided to check out Lido after reading a few reviews on some other sites. I contacted them through their web page and got on their invite list. They have different locations on different days. i visited 3 different locations on 3 different nights and they varied from rather plain on Wednesdays (although the roof deck is nice) to very spacious {but a little out of the way) on Thursdays to really cool on Fridays.
But the one thing they all have in common is a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere. I’ve been going to strip clubs for years and the constant parade of girls asking you for a dance can get very tedious. What I like about Lido is that the girls will have a real conversation with you first. You can get to know her before she gives you a dance, which for some reason makes the experience a lot nicer. And the fact that they are all 7’s or better (mostly better) doesn’t hurt.
Unlike a regular strip club, they don’t have any stages. They do have different themes each night with the girls dressed in either lingerie, bikinis, or very short dresses. Their member list appears to be mostly a suit & tie crowd. Drinks are a little on the expensive side, but then, this is Manhattan. Also, they do serve free sushi and pizza over the course of the night.
If you find the typical strip club scene to be getting kind of old, as I have, you might want to give Lido a try. You won’t miss the stages.
