Mir ist ja schon einiges im Leben passiert, aber so unverschämt und rüde bin ich weder in den USA noch sonstewo uffe Welt behandelt worden. Mich sieht man hier nie wieder!

big big big selection and the staff let me try on as many hats as i wanted without fuss. i loved the buy one get one deal too. i ended up leaving with three hats after and hour of trying on different styles.

If you like sports caps, this is the place. Buy one, get second ½ off. You can get your cap personalized as well. The brims are straight here. Small store, can get crowded, but friendly staff ease the pain of cramped quarters.

Très mauvaise expérience dans ce magasin. Non pas sur le choix des casquettes qui est très variés mais sur l’accueil de la vendeuse qui n’était vraiment pas agréable. Le conseil est froid, pas d’enthousiasme de sa part, même pas un signe de commerce. Néant. L’impression qu’elle dégageait envers les clients était vraiment anti commercial.
Dommage quand on voit au quotidien la sympathie des américains que ce soit dans les restaurant, boutique et le Subway.
Il est certain que si je dois revenir chercher un souvenir de la Big Apple, je né reviendrai pas ici.
D’autres boutiques de ce type sont présentes sur Time Square. Leur accueil né pourra pas être pire que dans cette boutique.

If you like your cap brims straight, then this is a great place for you. I on the other hand, do not, and because of such, am limited to approximately 2% of the stores inventory. I guess I’ll go to Modells and keep my fingers crossed.

Why are the staff so rude here? It is like some very unfunny joke… Wont be going here again.

This place would qualify as a joke, if only it were funny. I walked in and ordered a custom «lid» one day. I paid up front and was told the hat would be ready in a few weeks. I checked back a few weeks later, no hat. No record of it. No one who cared about it. Went in a week later only to be dismissed as a moron because I didn’t have my original receipt. I guess they don’t actually fulfill orders, they just take em and run.

Came here to buy a SnapBack recently before attending the Miami Heat/​Brooklyn Nets game… one thing I don’t like about Lids, they rarely ever have the same selection as they do on their website. What I do like about Lids is that with the discount card you can get what you came to purchase for a very decent price.
SnapBack was originally $ 29.99 and was reduced to $ 23…I didn’t get the SnapBack that I originally came for but still left with something decent and for $ 23, I can’t really complain that much.

this is one of my favorite lids store locations to go to. It’s well kept and the staff is very friendly and helpful, not to mention they have a pretty large array of hats from different sports teams. it’s cool that they have an embroidery machine if one wants to customize a hat. if you haven’t been here yet and you like hats (I love hats and wearing fitted ny yankee hats) then I suggest you come one down and check it out sometime

Good hat store. They have tons of hats and the custom work is what i was most interested in. If you have a membership ($ 10 a year?) you get %10 off of everything in the store and %20 off all custom work … Totally worth it. I have bought several hats from here since I started working in Times Square and I will continue to buy hats from here as long as they stay open and fully stocked.

I went to this lids, knowing they are the only game in town that claims to have the hats of every team in every major sports league. I am a huge fan of the Jets, Seahawks, Knicks, Mets, Isles and San Jose Sharks, so I was excited to walk in and buy team hats from my teams out west cheaper and quicker than online. Unfortunately, my experience was very lack luster. At first, I looked for the San Jose Sharks hat and did not see one on their selves. I assumed that it must be in the back since its not a very popular team on the east coast? So I go to the counter and ask for help. Was told by a worker to hold on, she asks this guy who was already doing embroidery and could’ve hurt himself because she screamed at him to come over and help me. He came over and was pretty polite and respectfully, but as he looked for it explained that the NHL is not popular around here and they ran out of stock on the item ?. You stated that the league isn’t popular but proceed to tell me a relatively unknown team is sold out ?. So I just say ok, can I get a Seattle Seahawks SnapBack? Since they won the Super Bowl they must have it right?. No, the guy says sorry we only have it in fitted. I say sure ill take a large. Sorry out I them only have extra large… I go down the street to the other lids and get both…
