Good luck on getting your order in full &/or in a timely manner! It’s unfortunate, I would have given four stars. I work nearby & like one of their lunch specials, but this is a hassle that I don’t have the time for! Both times I ordered it was a very long wait for food, both times items were left out of the order… And both times driver couldn’t locate office although I specified the exact street corner w/the address(customary courtesy in the city to make easiest for these guys). Yikes!

I’m relatively easy to please when it comes to Chinese takeout. I’m not expecting a gourmet meal, I’m not expecting authentic fare from any particular region of China, and I’m not expecting indulgent service. Low expectations save one from so much heartache! This is why my experiences at Lin’s have been perfectly A-OK, as indicated by the 3-star rating. On days when I’m tethered to my desk by immobilizing back-to-back conference calls, Lin’s comes to my rescue with quick, cheap, filling, and tasty American-Chinese food. Delivery time has invariably been faithfully accurate to the estimate provided by Seamless. The food is hot, fresh, and tasty when it arrives, and the portion sizes are more than generous. The chicken lo mein continues to be a safe choice. The lo mein noodles are stir-fried in a savory garlic sauce with pretty bounteous quantities of chicken and veggies(if carrots, onions and celery qualify as veggies). The chow fun noodles(flat rice noodles) and mei fun noodles(thin noodles) are pretty good too. Glad to be within their delivery radius for days when I am unable to go out for a meal.

Ordered Szechuan Beef and Chicken/Broccoli in Garlic Sauce. Not what I was expecting and the veggies were pretty bland and funky tasting.

For this area, this is the best price and taste for Chinese food you’ll find. When you come into the take-out restaurant you can tell it’s a fan to the Postal workers, High School students(but not too much), and Nanny’s of babies in this area, which I’m neither. I would give them 5 stars if they recently raise their prices and they didn’t hire that new lady at the counter who could be rude at times.

Awful! Ordered chicken chow mein and they gave me completely the wrong dish. I called and they said sorry, still charged me for it. Tried to eat it anyway but it was disgusting. Don’t think it was even chicken, it had a strange green/yellow goo on it. Awful!

I’ve always came here for their shrimp mai fun noodle soup when I’m craving for noodles at work and it good. It’s plain and simple can add a bit more taste to the soup base but I’m not complaining.

Just ordered from Lin’s Gourmet It was the worst Chinese food I had in a long time. The ribs came cold and all fat! The Moo Shu Chicken was burnt and also cold. I don’t recommend this resturant VERYBAD!

Great delivery — 15 min from time of order to the time they were at the door. Overall the food was okay. Many of the dishes were flavorless, especially the soups. Shrimp Mei Fun was good, sesame chicken — average. Shrimp egg roll was terrible, tasted old and just«not right»…ended up throwing away. Not a great Chinese takeout experience(aside from fast delivery)

This was such as satisfying delivery. It was getting late and I was getting lazy, so I ordered from this place which had decent reviews. I did order a few items and ultimately it took a while(an hour) to get my food, but it was really good! 1. Beef with broccoli combo: For $ 9, this came with a half tray of this entrée with pork fried rice(you can get white or brown rice too), and a soup(hot and sour is what I got). This is a great deal! 2. Dumplings(8): I got the boiled, and it was decent. It came with dumpling sauce. Actually the only reason I got this was because there was a $ 10 delivery minimum not including tip. However, I was glad I got it, because it complemented the meal well. Not too many places with good dumplings on the UES! Came with two fortune cookies!

This is a Seamless review! Now I didn’t rate this a 5 because it’s the best food I’ve ever eaten or anything, but it was fast, good portion, and tasty. I’ve had pretty bad luck with Seamless, and especially with Chinese food on Seamless. I ordered the General Tao’s chicken combo with white rice and wonton soup. For $ 9 this met the $ 10 minimum after tax/tip. It was delivered in probably ten minutes which was 2−3x faster than anticipated. The food was hot and tasty and a good enough size portion for leftovers the next day. Edit: tasted the wonton and had to bump this down to a 4 star because the wonton was a bit doughy so maybe not cooked the greatest? Will still try again!

Hi chinese foodicts! I know that sounds a lil dirty and sexist… anyways on to my review! I have confirmed with my asian food ambassador GarGuPi L., and we unanimously conclude this to be a noteworthy establishment. Note the A grade taped onto the window pane. As we all know no a pane, no gain. Hey I don’t make the rules but eating here is definitely a delicious and healthy gain. I ordered the jumbo shrimp curry and it came with alotta meat, onions and yellow curry. Tastes good so I like. It’s really just that simple.

Compared to real, sit down, authentic Chinese food, this place would get one star only. Considering that Lin’s is not trying to be that type of restaurant, and is just trying to serve quick, good portioned, decent tasting Chinese food, this place for sure deserves at least 3 stars. The prices are good; especially if you make it in for the lunch special that runs daily and ends at 4:00pm. –Lunch combo: $ 7-$ 8 includes entrée, choice of rice, and a can soda. –Dinner combo: $ 9 includes entrée, choice of rice, and soup or egg roll. We normally order two dinner combos and a side of noodles. Our bill is generally around $ 25. –Various non deep fried chicken dishes: consistently good every time we’ve ordered. Good amount of meat and vegetables. I do like how moist their white meat chicken is and their broccoli is not too overcooked. –Fried rice(that comes free with meal): surprisingly decent. Compared to other same level Chinese restaurants that use too much soy or use really old hard rice, their rice tastes pretty fresh and not too salty. –Chicken chow fun: okay. I’m not used to mushrooms being added or the extra use of ginger, but my daughter seems to like it enough. –Chicken chow mein: I was expecting noodles, but I guess at this place(and other Chinese restaurants I’ve eaten at in the UES and midtown east area) does not actually come with noodles. Not sure if this is a regional thing? The chicken chow mein here is pretty much chicken and low budget vegetables(onions, cabbage, celery), stir fried in a garlic sauce. I was wondering why they asked me what type of rice I wanted with it? Either way, the garlic sauce is good. I’m just not as into those vegetables. –Wonton soup(that comes free with dinner meal): pretty gross. The broth is heavily MSG(and I’m in no way against the use of it) and water. The wontons aren’t even edible. The wrap was unusually thick(maybe thicker than a potsticker skin) and the meat was so solid(use of too much corn starch maybe) and just had bad flavor. This really tasted nothing close to what wontons or wonton soup should taste like. FYI, if you want actual noodles, you’ll need to order the lo mein(which is the chow mein I was actually hoping for). Strange. As chow mein is literally translated to(wok stir) fried noodles and lo mein is translated to mixed noodles. A plus to this restaurant, is that it’s a decent size place. I could push my stroller around without issue. I don’t think they have high chairs here, but the place is a decent enough size to be considered kid friendly. FYI, they do accept credit cards.

Good God, this place is simply abysmal. I’m not one to write negative reviews, but if the orange chicken lunch special provided any hints about the rest of the menu, then expect poorly seasoned pigeon. I’ll stick with the Asian Eatery on 59th, where the food is superior, and the fortune cookies are far wittier, if not unflinchingly clairvoyant.

I simply love this place. Best Chinese food in the neighborhood. Big fan of the boneless spare ribs and scallion pancakes. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the food is AWESOME. Fast delivery too!

BEST Chinese food in Midtown East! This was suggested by the doorman at my apartment. He was right! He mentioned that it was not all fancy and no real place to have a «sit down», but there are a few tables and the food was HOT and FLAVORFUL! I have also ordered delivery from them, fast, efficient service as well! A favorite!

Delivery came super fast, about 15 minutes. Scallion pancakes and egg roll were pretty good, Chicken Chow Fun was super bland. Like, had no flavor at all. I had to throw some spices in and drench it in soy sauce to make it taste like something.

Bland, almost watery lo mein. Egg roll isn’t ready so it comes AFTER the meal? Not the best!
