LLI Laundromat

I must be living on a different planet. I love the team that runs this laundromat. They are friendly, have always put in my clothing if I ran back late, have great music playing and they’re always smiling.
Not sure what the other reviews were saying but I’m 100% always using the service here.

I am writing this review because I am very UPSET and disappointed with the service and lack of honesty at this business. I met the older women that owns this business and she’s very blunt and a bit rude with customers.
A. She stole half of the liquid detergent that I left her to do my drop off clothing to wash. When I confronted her about it she denied it!
B. I asked for a receipt or ticket for my laundry drop off and she refused to give me one
C. This place is cheaper then the laundry across the street but because she has such petty business practices I will never give her a cent of business again!
Please AVOIDDDDDD this business even if it cost you a few cents more across the street but you can avoid theft and rude servåice!

It bothers me to write this review because I am a supporter of small businesses and wanted to do so with this one but when you are yelled at/​treated poorly you just have to call it.
I moved to Harlem recently and chose to go to 361 because 1) It is about half the price as KLM and 2) it is run by who I thought was a sweet old lady that has been in Harlem for 40 years. First two times were fine. Talked and laughed with her and thought it was great that it wasn’t that busy on Sundays. Today I found out why.
After drying my clothes for 20 minutes I decided to pull out some clothes and she started yelling at me that I put too many clothes in the dryer and only for 20 mins. I told her I was taking clothes out and was leaving towels in. To which she told me that I didn’t even wash my clothes here which I had. I decided to leave all the stuff in to dry rather than take her wrath.
Since I don’t take well to be yelled at, particularly when I’m a customer, I won’t be returning. After talking to another customer he told me that she has driven a number of others away as well. I guess I will give my money to the bigger corp laundromat in the hopes that I will be treated better. Oh well, so much for a supporting a local small business.
