LMi Designs

I initially contacted LMI designs for them to design a layout for my store. I stated I only have 10−15k to spend on the store. They said they work with all range of budgets. So we agreed for these people to do our store, I was convinced I could have a beautiful store looking store. I went ahead and made out a check to LMI designs for $ 4,200.00. They went ahead and did the design. Than I received a layout with an invoice in the amount of 30k-​35k. I was shocked because this is not the budget we initially discussed. The design that LMI designed is for 30k-​35k and I can not use it. I have nothing from this company that I can actually use and I am out of $ 4200.00. As a small business owner I am tired of these companies taking advantage. They refuse to give me a refund because they state they did the «work».
Do not pay this company money up front. We are going to Small Claims Court to try to get our money back.
