Loftey

If you are looking for an apartment in NYC, Loftey is simply a no brainier.
After working through Loftey to find my current apartment in Manhattan I really cannot imagine why someone would use any other broker. As soon as I signed up for their site, I was contacted by the staff to iron out the details of my search. Very soon after I began receiving emails from Lofteys for listings that not only made sense, but actually existed! Prior to using Loftey I took it upon myself to skim apt listings and when I found a catch and contacted the listed broker… well, you know the drill. «Oh I’m sorry sir, that apartment is no longer available, but how about I show you this other apt today that I’m sure you will like even better!» Like even better? Let’s not kid ourselves… this «other apartment» was a disaster and not even close to what I was looking for.
Once I determined which apartments fit my search the Loftey staff arranged a schedule of visits and we were on our way. I was certainly impressed by their knowledge and expertise when we visited the listings — often pointing out elements of the building and apt that I normally wouldn’t have noticed and making sure that little went unquestioned.
Eventually I selected and apartment in a NO FEE newer apartment building. No fee, no problem… Loftey explained. Their services didn’t stop there as they then proceeded to negotiate a 2 yr lease for 200/​mth less than the building was asking for!
Weeks later I was prepped to move, Loftey covered the majority of my moving expenses, and the rest is history.
Loftey just makes sense. I saved money on the move and rent negotiations. I saved time by having listings sent to me and the Loftey staff arranging an efficient schedule of apt visits. And I saved myself a headache of having to work with countless brokers as Loftey provided a centralized location for all my questions/​concerns/​requests.

I got lucky to find Loftey. They absolutely saved my life. I was moving from Seattle to NYC and was trying to find a place remotely. Even when you live in the city it is impossible to find a good place. Someone here called it «the roller coaster that is NY real estate» and i couldnt agree more. Between fake listings and tremendous broker fees I was lost.
Not only that Loftey do not charge you a fee they will actually get you a discount! They can find you a place that is not listed anywhere and you could never get to it by yourself, and their service is excellent. I worked with Ori and he was a life saver. I gave him my requirements and budget and the day after he had a place for me which was exactly what i wanted, and with discounted rent.
Being ignorant about renting in NY, He guided me through the process, handled all the paper work for me, was always available to talk with me and answer question, I did nothing but sit and wait for the process to be done. And sign the lease :-)

Even though I’ve already signed my lease, I’m still having trouble believing a service like Loftey exists.
Peter scheduled a day full of apartment visits for us, was there to answer any questions we had, and was overall a great guide. After deciding on an apartment, he acted as our liaison to the building management company. He’s always quick to respond and happy to help.
After doing all of that for us, we were given the Loftey bonus of some cold, hard cash.

Loftey was able to help me sign a lease on a home I love. Hannah made my transfer from Philadelphia, PA to Cobble Hill, NY seamless. She was readily available to set up viewings and was quick to follow up when I found a place I loved. I would recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a new home in the NY area.
