My husband and I stopped in the store while walking around Rockefeller Center. We were interested in a weekend bag and a gentlemen helped us select a bag, but had to go into their storage area to get the color we requested. While we were waiting, we looked at the other side of the store and were put off by a female store associate who obviously judged everyone by the way they looked. She gave preferential treatment to some customers and completely snubbed us because of the way we were dressed. We were prepared to purchase several bags, but she did not even offer us assistance when we were discussing the bags. Please don’t judge people by looks or put on some snobby attitude in order to make customers feel uncomfortable… thus thinking that your products are above them. It comes off as tacky… not classy in any way.

Brought my Le Pliage bag in for repairs — first time because the button popped off and the second time to repair the corners. Great customer service both times, no hassles and each repair was completed in 6 weeks.

I was definitely not impressed by the customer service in this location. I was not greeted, and then while currently browsing the wall, not a single sales representative came to help me with sizes. I was definitely not satisfied with their service. Definitely use a different location or go to the Saks Fifth Avenue across the street!

Went in to purchase a bag for my girlfriend’s birthday and was not even greeted upon entering! Being a man, I was somewhat struggling with what to pick for her and no one seemed to want to assist me. Mind you, I was the only one in the store at the time and I did not look like a bum. I was dressed well but casual, seeing as I was going into Longchamp and not Chanel, I figured I was fine. Apparently not! The associates were preoccupied chatting with each other instead of helping a customer. I chose to leave and purchase the bag at another location. Will be avoiding this branch in the future.

I love Longchamp but not this location, I was only one there and the 3 attendants were busy chatting on the phone than answering my questions. Soho Longchamp or Online Longchamp is much friendlier.

I have been collecting Longchamp bags for years. Unfortunately, this branch probably has the most unprofessional sales person I have ever come across in any store in NYC. One of the male staff is arrogant, rude, offensive, and made some inappropriate remarks that seem to reflect some disturbing hatred he has with people in general or perhaps a certain race. I was quite surprised because through the years, my shopping experience in Longchamp has been very pleasant and without hassle. I ended up purchasing what I want instead in another branch. I will still buy Longchamp products but I will never again walk inside this branch. Try to avoid this branch

Very disappointed in the way my husband was treated last week. He was going to surprise me with a scarf for Christmas but was treated with such rudeness he walked out. He was probably judged on the way he looked, as he is a professional tennis player and had run off the court in his tennis sweats when he had time. It’s a shame as they treated him like he couldn’t afford the scarf. I own many Longchamp products, but this makes me second guess the brands integrity. Customer service 101, treat everyone with respect. We will take out business elsewhere.

I walked in with my mind totally set on what I wanted. But when I saw the new seasonal colors I was back at square one. I received great customer service at this location. Maximiliano was great & patient with me … He modeled bags for me & had no problem brining out multiple bags. I’m so happy with my purchase & I will return.

This is the Longchamp store at Rockefeller Center. I was interested in purchasing handbags, but I was disappointed by the saleswoman’s attitude here. She showed me the bags I was interested in, but during our interaction, I was uncomfortable due to her snooty attitude. Longchamp was founded in Paris in 1948 and is known for high-quality luggage, handbags and accessories, and I was excited to select a bag. The saleswoman did show me bags, but she had a snobby way to her. I ignored it but was annoyed that she said that because this is my first Longchamp bag, I may not want a bag that is too difficult to take care of. It may be too much work for me. She did give me a catalog, and I was ready to buy the bags that I like. However, I was put off by her assumptions about me and her general condescension. I put off buying the bag due to this snootiness — I don’t want to buy a bag that reminds me of how I was looked down upon. Maybe I’ll have a better experience in Paris — though I’m not counting on it.
