What a cute little jewelry store! If you are in the neighborhood and need some retail therapy or a gift, this is a great place to come! What’s nice about this store is that like have a nice range of prices. I’d say around $ 50 to $ 300(I belief they also have a small selection of fine jewelry). I bought a bracelet there by a designed named She. Rise– a leather band with crushed Swarovski crystals and tiny metal beads. I LOVED it, saw it displayed on the window, and it was actually the reason I walked in. Unfortunately, the first couple days I wore it, it fell off, and I lost it on the street. A couple weeks later I went to see if they had the same one, and they didn’t. I was just making small talk and told them the story, and they offered me 30% off and ordered me another from the company! So nice, they definitely didn’t need to do that. Since. I’ve also bought a few other small pieces I love. Definitely walk in and have a look!

This is a review for an engagement ring we got from Lori McLean. We are so thrilled with the custom ring that Lori put together for us. We had a pretty specific vision — pink sapphire with some halo and slightly raised so a band could sit flush against it all in rose gold(it sounds a little ridiculous, but, thanks to Lori, it turned out to be just unique and pretty). Lori showed us a range of options, and I picked a design that I loved, but was worried would change dramatically when she integrated the requested alterations. I had no reason to fear — the final product is just like the model. Lori also sourced a beautiful pink sapphire, and got information about its origin so we could feel comfortable about the ethics, and that is no small feat(especially because she did it incredibly quickly). She produced a digital model of the altered ring, and a wax model of the altered ring that slid right onto my finger. Last, Lori was transparent about price, materials, and process and never made me feel like a jerk for wanting to have a sense of what was going into the ring. And the final product is way more beautiful than anything I could have imagined or come up with. And all of this was done on an incredibly tight timeline. In general would just say that her clean vintagey style with a touch of whimsy resulted in a ring that I think will stand the test of time, and she did it all efficiently, kindly, transparently, and was totally down to earth and fun to work with! Thanks Lori!

The West Village shop was such a delight, I’m a little surprised at how small and dark the new place seems. The jewelry is very pretty and it’s clear that the antique pieces are chosen with care, but I was disappointed at how little information the sales person could give me about ordering one of their house line pieces. She told me about the different options — side stones and custom engraving are available — but couldn’t tell me with any certainty how long it would take to make, how much it would cost, the maximum engraving length, if the sizing would change the look, anything! It was frustrating, but I agreed to email the store to get more information. It’s just weird you have to email the store for more info when you are IN the store.
