Louis N Vogel, MD

The illustrious Dr. Vogel is my boy. Or, technically, I’m his boy since he has like, 3 of my lifetimes under his belt. Regardless, Dr. Vogel is not only a great healthcare physician, but also a Man of great tastes. I rolled in one day and the homie was wear this classy suit vest and a ridiculous tie that I secretly wished I owned myself.
Professionally speaking, he is very adept with his diagnosis’s as is able to quickly and efficiently determine the cause and most viable route of treatment for your ailments. He pulls medical knowledge out like few can. As a scientist, it was fascinating to speak to him on a level which transcends «average» patient care. Always manages to put a smile on my face.
So there you have it, Dr. Louis Vogel is probably the most qualified dermatologist for you in Manhattan.
Also, shout-​out to his equally incredible surgical assistant, who was also remarkably helpful!

Dr. Vogel is an excellent dermatologist. Very knowledgeable, sensitive to both medical and cosmetic concerns, and is a pleasure to talk to. He answered all of my questions efficiently, and I would highly recommend without hesitation.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vogel for over twenty years. I have continued with him for so long because of his expertise and concern for each individual patient.

I have been going to Dr. Vogel for twenty five years, during which time I became a doctor myself. I have rarely met a physician as knowledgeable about his field and as ethical and meticulous with his patients as Dr. Vogel. I hope he stays in practice for as long as I have need of a dermatologist and would recommend him highly to anyone, including my own patients.

Unfortunately, Louis Vogel has poor human interaction skills. He is very condescending and I walked out with really no help to my condition which is rashes on my face.
i wanted to know how I could manage my rashes: what soap to wear, what moistures, what make up to wear, etc. Basically, he told me «don’t put anything on your face that doesn’t feel good. This isn’t rocket science (verbatim).»
I wanted to understand possible triggers such as what things might be causing my rashes like hormones, allergies, stress, etc. I did not get any information here. And my guess is, he just didn’t know.
For my question about make up, he just told me «don’t wear make up (verbatim)» Now, that is a man talking to a woman with no empathy!
He might be good for cosmetology, not sure; but I would suggest for dermatitis, go the extra way on Park Avenue to Dr. Albert Lefkovitz.

Please do not waste your time and money coming here. He will rush you in and out and the only solution he will provide is to recommend his overpriced skincare line. He didn’t prescribe anything for a reoccurring issue that I need medicine for. Horrible experience.
Edit… it’s hilarious that the office’s only response was to call me a liar instead of offering any assistance. It’s obvious they only care about making money and not the patient’s satisfaction. No sample was offered — the receptionist was rude when I was reluctant to purchase the line (which was expensive, with BASIC ingredients found in MANY other products). I actually burst out into tears after leaving this office because it was such a waste of my time and money. I felt extremely rushed. If I wanted assistance from an aesthetician instead of a doctor, I would have gone to a med spa.
