Love this place. Good prices and the only place I’ve found in NYC so far that carries mini rice cakes.

One of my favorite places to come for certain Asian groceries, especially the kimchi. Over the years, the kimchi section has really grown. There’s a pretty big variety, and you can also buy kimchi in large quantities too – like about 5 lbs worth! There are other things here and there like popular snacks like pocky, and somen soup-base, and Japanese drinks like calpico, some grab and go meals, as well as some meats and produce. It’s almost like Sunrise Mart but more Korean centric. I always find something when I stop by.

My favorite spot for a quick Asian snack grab on the way home. Green tea kit kats and frozen mochi. Don’t expect great customer service. More like a convenient store here.

I’ve been going there for 12 years. Awesome udon noodle soup. A revelation if your broke(or just want something delicious!)

Tofu vegetable udon noodles for six bucks(and a ton of other options). Grocery section of noodles, rice, sauces, flavorings, etc. A great place to grab some lunch and read a book.

This location is exponentially better than the Morningside location. They make numerous Asian foods to order and carry more options of items. Not to mention that the aisles are wider and everything is so perfectly placed to make items easier to find. I really really do wish that their Morningside location was this great, but if I’m ever in the area this is the stop to make for a quick snack; e.g. sushi, or for some grocery shopping. **Note: Great pitstop to make if you’re watching a movie at the theater across the street for some snacks. P. S. The employees here are really nice and attentive. Also, the place is kept very neat and tidy.

It depends what you’re looking for — as a grocer, it’s great! Fun items reasonable prices. Although there are those moldy strawberries. But as a place to get quick sushi, eh. It tastes funny, although is super cheap.

This place is eh. In terms of being a real grocery store, it fails in all measure — variety, freshness, prices. For a real grocery store, head to Sunrise Mart just a block away. However, if you are looking for Korean ingredients and ready made food. Then this is the place for you. It’s a lot closer for most than heading all the way to K-Town and there is a pretty good selection of sauces and cooked food. I saw many people getting refrigerated«take out» like kimbap or rice bowls.

I consider M2M to be more of a convenience store for Korean food and other goods of that area than anything else. They also have my favorite splurge, Matt’s Munchies. At over two dollars for a roll its not a pretty purchase but they taste soooo good. This isn’t a place where I’d look for fresh goods. They have plenty of pre-made Korean dishes, snacks, and a bunch of dry goods for your needs. I wouldn’t say its the best Korean food i’ve had but it serves a purpose, especially when its late and you are walking by and don’t want to wait for a delivery.
