If i could give negative stars I would. The pizza itself was very tasty, however, the experience with the driver was a complete nightmare. He called us when he arrived to let us know that he wouldn’t be getting out of his car to deliver our food. He wanted us to walk downstairs to his car in the middle of the road and get it from him. When we refused, he decided to bring us our food, all while calling me a bitch and telling me that we weren’t worth it. There was no parking and it is billshit that ue had to bring our pizza to us. Wow. Maybe a delivery driver shouldn’t be his first choice in occupation.

I was desperate for food the night of the blizzard and was calling around to find an open restaurant that would deliver. These guys were open, so I ordered a cheese and pepperoni pizza and a grilled chicken salad. The salad was awesome with lots of vegetables, and the pizza was delicious, but the fact that they braved the storm to get my order to me with a smile earns them 5 stars.

There are no good pizzerias in Ridgewood. Pizzas in Ridgewood are so salty and not cheesy enough. However, among the crappy pizzas in Ridgewood, Madison’s was one of very few better pizzas.

A classic Italian family-owned restaurant. Whatever is on the menu, they can add or subtract ingredients from. Basically, you can have whatever you want! The linguine with chicken Parmesan was really good. The buffalo chicken is AMAZING. I’ve never had a better buffalo chicken pizza. You feel very welcomed walking into the spot, like family.

great cheap pizza place for the area. the crust is really doughy, which is how i like it, the sauce is good, and there’s an ideal amount of cheese. i also love their eggplant rollatini — for $ 8 you get enough fried, cheesy eggplant over pasta to last for literally four large meals. i order delivery from here fairly often and it’s really fast too… usually around 30 minutes.

The garlic knots were doughy and a delicious compliment to my baked ziti. I love carbs.

I’ve stopped in a couple times now, since it’s on the way back from the train, and both times I get annoyed at the price when I see them charging me $ 3 – 4 for such an average slice with a couple toppings. If I’m hungry and get two, I’ve just blown $ 8 on the same pizza you see everywhere. C’mon, the dollar slice warfare in the city produces better slices, and I know their rents in Manhattan are way higher.

You know those places you order food from because they’re open late and they’re literally around the corner from you? And you go there in your hungriest and weakest moments? That’s this place. I’ll put it this way: generally any time I eat here, I wind up with my stomach feeling as though it’s become a swamp. The pizza itself is better than the stuff you might find at the late-night fried chicken palaces that are dotted throughout Ridgewood and Bushwick, but it is still not particularly«good.» It’s overly doughy and the cheese is quite clearly crap. BUT the sauce is pretty good! Oddly enough. Regardless, walk a few extra blocks over to Fresh Pond Avenue and just don’t get any pizza that night.

I’ve been back a few times. I am downgrading this to «OK». Certainly edible but nothing magnificent about this slice.

I wondered why there was a good review grade for this pizzeria, until I realized who it was that rated it; Mr. Ridgewood himself apparently. Forgive me, but I’d rather have my New York food graded by someone who isn’t a hipster transplant from Michigan. I received four items with my order; a large pizza, chicken tenders, hot wings and garlic knots that came free with the pizza. The pizza was pretty bad compared to many other Ridgewood staples. The sauce was sweet, the cheese tasted like the pre-shredded bagged stuff that more pizzerias are sadly making a move to, and the crust was doughy and didn’t have much taste. I ordered it well done, and it definitely wasn’t. The garlic knots were doughy as well, and they didn’t taste all that great. The chicken fingers and wings definitely earn the extra star here though, as the fingers had a great taste to them, and the wings were big(although they better be, since they were 6 for $ 5), but were crispy and had a great hot wing taste to it. I would have given it 2.5 stars because the delivery guy seemed cool, and actually legitimately seemed surprised that I was tipping him. Tip your delivery people, or get off your ass and get it yourself!
