I purchased a beautiful piece while visiting NYC, it was delivered to California as promised safe and sound. However, I paid, apparently now, TOOMUCH. I was told by Joseph, I would receive a letter of authenticity stating the price it was ALLEGEDLY worth, for insurance purposes. According to Joseph it was worth 3x what I paid! The piece arrived without this affidavit. I began phoning Magnificent Obsessions, several times a day, every day for two weeks, no answer, no machine. Odd that a legitimate place of business doesn’t pick up the line or allow you to leave a message so someone can respond. As I look back at the whole experience, I was definately taken for a few thousand dollars. I did file a complaint with the BBB, on principal, and they have had no luck either. Not a reputable business in my eyes. BUYERBEWARE!!! Despite how beautiful this piece was, and I did receive it… the fact is I was taken advantage of, and could not contact the place of business… and for that reason I write this review!

We have always received excellent service as we feast on fabulous eye-candy. We’ve made multiple purchases through the years and have never been disappointed. In fact, our most recent purchases were just last week. They’re exquisite! When items were sent the packaging kept our beautiful new purchases safe and secure. This is a must-go-to treasury. Richard

We purchased a number of items and they were delivered fine but after numerous phone calls and a visit still don’t have a certificate or anything for appraisal purposes… this is for a purchase made over 1.5 years ago.

I’m not a big spender. It makes my heart skip a beat to buy pretty much anything expensive, so this was the last place in the world that I expected to make my very first completely frivolous, expensive purchase. This store is completely dangerous because everything in there is beautiful, and the owner is hungry to sell you something to the point of you being unable to walk away. Long story short, I bought a Dresden that should have gone for well over $ 1000 for $ 400. I’m so happy I could explode :). Apparently they are going to just sell jewelry soon which is such a bummer because I would totally go back to buy more unnecessary porcelain!
