Manic Panic Color Asylum

I adore this place! And Lucy is fabulous!
I have been dying my hair myself with Manic Panic products for years… so when I heard they had their own salon in NYC… I was thrilled! Lucy always does the most wonderful job on my hair and because of her and her amazing abilities… I can try fabulous and fun new things with my hair that I could never do myself at home! She is always up for whatever fun new color or style I come up with… and executes it perfectly! Plus, she is so sweet and funny… and always gives me helpful hair advice.
The prices are great and it is beyond convenient that they are located inside of a Ricky’s… so you can pick up whatever other hair or beauty accessories you may need. Even some extra Manic Panic to touch up your hair at home.
I highly recommend this place… especially if you want to try something new and colorful!

Lucy is fantastic! she turned my bornwish-​red hair into a deep purple haze. She talked me through the whole process and made sure I was happy with it. I will be back to get a touch up for my roots.

My teen has been coming here for the last year for her crazy streaks and hair colors. Lucy is amazing! She can literally do any color you want! She’s upbeat, creative, and a sweetheart. She’s also great at cuts! The color lasts a long time, she takes the time to do the additional steps so the color sets — and stays! Lucy takes the time to listen and understand what you are looking for. My daughter has left Lucy’s chair every time looking amazing and very happy! Lucy also has experience with hair extensions. hmmm. might be fun for the next visit! Thank you Lucy! We’ll be back soon! XO!

This salon was great! My colorist, I think her name was Lucy, was awesome. She was so nice, and gave me the exact color I was looking for. She even told me how to mix it up at home myself. I was very happy with my visit.
