MECCA Center

I went to MECCA center twice. Once to sign up to volunteer. Once I went for an event. After I attended the event I decided I couldn’t volunteer for such a place. I can’t agree with THEIR Islam or the way they run things. I went to a sister’s event that consisted of a workshop on oils that they were basically trying to sell us that they tried to hook us on by saying that the Prophet recommended that we use them. basically Islamic marketing. And these oils weren’t cheap either. Very overpriced oils. With all their «scientific data» that proved this and that. It was BS to make money. Anyways that was followed by the women singing. Mind you you can hear the women singing the hallway as strangers go by. MECCA is in a public office building. And then prayer and food. I didn’t like their teachings, THEIR Islam or appreciate their marketing.

The MECCA center has been around for a while, and i and a number of friend attend classes here — its such a great resource & a great help/​source of education in the community.
