After my original bad experience I though I ought to give them a second chance and visited them today. They were absolutely packed, however the waiters were very efficient in clearing table and getting people seated. Some regular patrons also seem to pre-order before sitting down. I order some things from the Menu and luck for me the waitress was very honest with me on the portions, she suggested that it was way too much food and I will not be able to eat half of it. She suggested that I go with the Lunch special, however nothing interested me there, I decided to get the vegetable Egg Foo yong, it was large and the sauce was spicy as I asked for it. The service was very efficient with filling water getting you an extra napkin or hot sauce. I may return in the future but will have to re-decide what I will be eating there. Its a relatively cheap eat with very good portions if that your thing. If you are looking for a more flavorful meal then look elsewhere.

I can write a lengthy review or simply mention the soggy rice, bland wanton soup or mediocre Tso’s chicken. In a pinch, it’ll do. Have time to experiment… pass this place up.

This is legitimately tasty Chinese food. It’s fast, portions are large and very, very fairly priced. We had the meat steamed dumplings– ate them all, shrimp fried rice– loads of shrimp, and sesame chicken– delicious! The bill was $ 27 and we ate in, so it is inexpensive for a dinner for two plus leftovers. The décor and atmosphere aren’t stellar, but for what it is, it is the best in the city. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.

Hands down best Chinese food in the area. Love this place. We order from here at least twice a week. Baby garlic shrimp is AMAZING! It’s fresh, affordable and delicious. The literally deliver in 5 minutes flat. Sometimes we don’t even understand how they can deliver so fast.

It was a cold day and I had a hankering for noodle dumpling soup. 10 Mins walk in the cold plus waiting another 5 mins patiently outside it at Mee, got a hot salty broth. To be honest the broth was tasty and the bok choy and scallions were a very nice touch, but that’s what got this place a one star. The noodles were missing in my to go order and the dumplings were balls of dough! Will give it one more try, but the dumplings are definitely not worth it.

Roast pork with thin rice noodle soup. So much roast pork– not salty which is how i like it. But a delicious, slightly(perfectly so) salty broth and the noodles soaked the soup up. The flavors were top notch. I came here several times but never wrote a review. I definitely should try other things but my usual is so tried and true!

In slow decline. I know and order/eat at them for a long time(over a decade) because they used to have good tasting, freshly made food at great value. This is slowly starting to be less true. They raised their prices a couple of times which took them from an admittedly great value to a market rate. But now the food quality is starting to go down. You can objectively measure that buy the ratio of chicken to flour in their sweet sour chicken. There is now a lot of flour covering a small chicken; overall taste is no longer acceptable for that dish. To be fair, its not a consistent issue but if I had to draw a dot plot it would be some sort of slow negative trend. And i didn’t even consider the shifting restaurant rating between B and«grade pending». I hope they can address the quality issues because it is the only ok(was great) Chinese around here.

Guys this place is cheap and solid. I’ve only had duck and vege dishes but they were excellent. The Roast Duck on rice has 5 pieces, and 4 pieces of bok choy and rice, for 7.75 the size is acceptable. I’ve also had noodle with roast duck, that is literally the same thing but with Udon noodles. I’ve also had Cantonese noodle with vegetables and this is basically what you get when the noodles are super thin and fried and they give you this syrupy Asian broth/juice thing to dump it in and the veges are in there too. That was pretty delish as well.

I googled«best eggroll in NYC» and some idiot recommended this place. Blech! General Tsos was soggy in a pile of grease. Chick and broccoli was flavorless. Wonton soup-frozen dumplings and watery broth. My last hope were the sauteed string beans. Flavorless as well. I found the rude lady on the phone to be «Seinfeld-esque», so I was amused– thus giving 1 star. I’m sorry to write a bad review– but it could just be a million times better IMHO.

Literally a few steps from my apartment and I’m very, very impressed with this joint. I’ve lived in Southern California for over 18 years and I grew up on amazing and«bang for your buck» Chinese food. This place is not like your typical cheap«Chinese» joint they have all over Manhattan and Chinatown. Very affordable, very quick, accepts credit card. Great spot for you and your friends to get something filling and quick to eat before a trip. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and this is the only joint in NYC that actually stacks layers and layers of shrimp when you order a dish with shrimp. Not like other shops that add only three or four shrimps to your shrimp meal.

Was initially hesitant to go here due to the mediocre Unilocal reviews but we were hungry and we were right here so we tried it anyway. Glad we did! This review obviously proves that when there’s mixed reviews and you have the opportunity, you should try a place for yourself and see what you think! Service was extremely fast, courteous, and helpful. The place inside looks like your average nice Manhattan sit down Chinese joint. I had the ma po tofu with chicken and also tried some of my boyfriend’s duck noodle soup. I eat a lot of ms po tofu and I’ve never had one with chicken before! The ma po tofu was above average and I liked that the tofu was soft and there were some peas and mushrooms in it. It had sautéed high quality sliced white meat chicken mixed in which was delicious. It was a huge portion and although overpriced at something like $ 14, it’s enough for two meals so not too bad. My boyfriend really liked his duck noodle soup with large generous amounts of duck in it. You have a choice of noodles and udon are definitely a way to go. This is a very solid above average Chinese joint and it was quite good! I’m only not giving it 5 stars because I have had better Chinese food at a number of other places in the city. However, definitely check out this place and it might surprise you!

Mee Noodle is not fancy. They are a corner restaurant contained in all of about 150 square feet if I’m being generous, but if you want good quality, no frills Chinese food, this is your joint. It’s an old-style traditional Chinese restaurant where you can see the cooks hustling while you check out what everyone else is eating. You can stop by any time of day and they will always be busy. Not too busy for you, but busy enough that you know people keep coming back. I’ve been coming here for years.(Actually, I do mostly delivery but when I’ve eaten in-house they have been quick and delicious.) When I’ve ordered for delivery? They are almost at my door by the time I hang up the phone. For real. They’re ridiculously fast. My go-to is the Tofu with Broccoli in garlic sauce. Their brown sauce is probably the best in the city. The Dried Sauteed String beans are also a not-to-be-missed dish and when in mixed company we usually get the Sweet & Sour chicken, General Tso’s or Chicken with Broccoli. All are crowd-pleasers. Hot Tip: If you are ever feeling sick, the hot and sour soup is the way to go. Throw in some of their spicy mustard and it’s a cure-all. You’re welcome. The prices are totally reasonable, in fact, they charge less for main dishes than many in the neighborhood and they have great lunch specials to boot. Mee Noodle has been around for as long as I’ve been in the neighborhood and when a place has this much staying-power, you know they’re good.

Come here for lunch very often. Service is always very quick and the food quality is on point. They have some great, cheap lunch specials that come with either an egg roll or soup and your choice of rice. I usually get the General Tso’s or Sweet & Sour chicken. One other neat thing is their fortune cookies are like a Neapolitan Fortune Cookies. It’s got a little but of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla! Nice way to satisfy your sweet tooth. It’s not a fancy shmancy place to take somebody on a Friday night but if you want a quick and satisfying lunch that is always fresh, stop by this place.

Delicious Shanghai style noodles with pork and bock choi. The stock is delicious. The pork juicy. I put some chilies in for a kick. Could have licked the bowl. Fast service and an $ 8 bill. Nice!

Food was at my door THIRTEEN minutes after I submitted my Seamless order… THIRTEEN!!! Um, what? Unheard of. I didn’t even get a chance to open my confirmation email, and I am by no means complaining! I ordered a hot and sour soup and tofu in black bean sauce. The soup was okay, but the tofu was GREAT! A lot of Chinese places skimp out on the tofu and pack this dish with mostly veggies but not at Mee Noodle… it was ALLLLLLLLLLTOFU. The prices are on the cheaper end AND they have the speediest delivery, like, ever. GONOODLE, GONOODLE, GO!

It was hard for me to believe a real Chinese restaurant exist at the part of Manhattan! The inside is just like a old-style Chinatown lunch place transported to Mid-town with the greasy Formica tables and the cooks dressed in white. Looking at what the other customers eating, I can tell there are many regulars that are eating traditional noodle soup dishes. I went with the standard lunch menu! I ordered the beef with mixed Vegetables with egg fried rice with hot & sour soup($ 7.50) — soup was on the spicy side and the beef and veggies are fresh and tasty. Rate4/5 Prices are very low here! Food– 4⁄5 Service– 3⁄5(table a little greasy) Restroom– did not visit

This spot is adequate when the feyonce and I are desiring Chinese cookin’ in a pinch. Lately, we’ve been way too lazy to hop on the M-15 down to Chinatown, so Mee Noodle delivery it is! The food is your typical Chinese fast-food fare, but the prices are raised to reflect Midtown rent. Our fave is the Sesame Chicken(I know, I know…) which is flavorful but portions were mediocre. Just be warned!

This is one of the few Chinese places in midtown that serves authentic yet inexpensive, great Chinese food. The place is entirely no frills, service is hasty, seating is available, though it gets packed easily during lunch hours. Rarely if ever do I have Chinese food for lunch, but for Mee Noodle, I’ll certainly make the exception. They have a lunch special menu, but off their regular, a must try and popular dish is their Noodle Wonton Soup. This is a classic favorite. Soup with an abundance of al dente cooked angel hair noodles, baby bokchoy, and a load of tasty, pork filled wontons. Only $ 6.50, this item is as good as a lunch special which normally runs under $ 7. It’s absolutely one of the best wonton soups I’ve tried and at a very decent price. Double Sauteed Pork plus a bowl of Hot and Sour Soup or Egg Drop Soup, is the second item worth ordering. With a side of white or brown rice, it’s a great portion amount of tender, sauteed pork and vegetables. Their Hot and Sour Soup has a nice tinge of sourness and spice. Not much can be said about service and atmosphere, as it’s a very typical Chinese restaurant. Though, there’s much reason for its popularity, and the great prices for legitimately great Chinese food is one of those reasons. Mee Noodle appears to have more than location with different owners. You shouldn’t be disappointed by this particular location. Just be prepared for a possible short wait for a table if stopping by for lunch.
