Do Not Order from here if you want food the same day. My order took an hour & a half. After the first hour I called to cancel the order but the guy was on the way… then the line was busy when I called 30 minutes later. The delivery did finally arrive cold although note I did not order sushi. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that appreciate their customers, offer better service, and food. Good luck Milosun.

Damn, it’s a real pity that this place closed down. I used to come here all the time since I was in the NYU area so often. I would go for a late lunch and it would never be busy, something I really appreciated since I’d always be eating alone and I prefer to not have people talk or stare at me. I would always get two or more salmon avocado rolls. Yeah, I can eat a lot. The fish is pretty good quality, especially considering the price you’re paying. I wonder if finances had anything to do with them closing up shop? Because this was always a hard deal to believe. The server’s were always polite and tended to stay out of my hair. For those of you who went here before it went under, congratulations. For the rest of you, tough luck.

They are liars when it comes to there hours of operation. I called the establishment because the hours the bussiness posted on Unilocal says open until 2AM. I called them at 12:23AM to ask if the kitchen was open as I was walking over to the restaurant. The woman said yes over the phone. Once I arrived excited to eat sushi, they denied us service and said they are only doing delivery and to go. I think they should clarify online, and not lie on the phone about their hours. Very disappointing…

Ordered late night carryout the other night, and boy… sushi looked good. However, looks can be deceiving. Rice was not seasoned and the provided soy sauce was not the right type(they gave cooking soy sauce which had a more burnt taste). The fish taste were slightly off as well, so I can assume it may not be the best quality.

Omg omg omg. This place was the bombbbb!!! Although my experience might be a bit different than what a typical customer might experience but the skill and flavors the chef is able to create is there. Came here for a friends birthday dinner. He knew the owner and asked us to just sit back and enjoy whatever surprise the chef whips out. Boy oh boy was it good. All the ingredients were fresh and the plating of each dish were beautiful. Each order were very unique and the complementing flavors was unique and mind-blowing. I loved the chilean sea bass and the lobster taco. Check out the photos I uploaded for this restaurant. Hopefully what i had is on the menu or can be made to order.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. When you’re freezing your cajones off an your apartment is a stone’s throw away from even decent looking sushi, you get it. We braved the cold for all but 4 minutes round-trip to get average sushi. A yellowtail scallion roll and a salmon avocado roll later and $ 10 cheaper, I didn’t regret it. Don’t expect stellar service either, right when we walked through the door the host barked, «pick up?!» as if he couldn’t get us out of there fast enough. Guess homeboy dropped all his chill pills in the toilet.

Asian food is not always an easy order via online order or calling delivery. I have been searching, searching, searching for a place here in Manhattan that serves Hibachi with a SPECIFIC white sauce. Where I’m from in NC, it comes 100% standard with hibachi meals! I’ve been floored to not have found the same here. The sauce in question goes by a variety of names, which also makes it hard — people call it: White Sauce, Shrimp Sauce, Yum Yum Sauce(the most common I think), Sakura Sauce, Japanese Steakhouse Mayo. After calling about 10 places, cross referencing between Unilocal,Google, Seamless, and Menu Pages, I came across this gem of a place. The lady on the phone was so nice and responded to my question about the sauce in a way that was like«duh! of course we have that! comes standard with hibachi»(not verbatim, of course…) I was so happy to have finally found it that I didn’t even have time to worry whether or not the food was good and came from a well-respected establishment. It… so… good! My hibachi was PERFECT. The rice was gooey, moist and flavorful. the Veggies were fresh and top quality. The chicken was so good — it also felt top-quality, cooked perfectly in a delicious glaze. Obviously, the white sauce was the cherry on top. They had great customer service and my order came within 20 minutes as promised. Overall, this place was a BREATHOFFRESHAIR. It is what compelled me to get a Unilocal!account and write my first review. I highly recommend it — enjoy!

My girlfriend brought me here and while most dishes tasted like what you’d expect of a sushi place, I really recommend their salmon avocado roll. Hats off to the chef!

I came here with a friend a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised by how good the sushi was. Sushi is always good when fresh but when we asked for the ‘house special’, which turns out to be an off-the-menu item, it was AMAZING. it was silky salmon sashimi wrapped around a crab or shrimp tempura and topped with avocado and drizzled with sweet spicy salsa. OMG. I had never eaten that kind of sushi anywhere else in the world — not even in Japan. Must try! Service is great too. The wifi doesn’t seem to be working but that was probably just during that time.

Pros: Sushi is pretty cheap, good, and the waitresses are really nice. Cons: Service can be slow, the all you can eat/drink deal makes it really loud and crowded on weekend with huge college groups. Go on a week night and it’s great.

Terrible service. Mediocre food.(defrosted sashimi) Not worth your money or time. If you’re thinking of coming in a large group, steer clear. CONS: Problem 1) No food for over ONEHOUR. We had a reservation for 22 people for 9pm for AYCE sushi and AYCD beer/sake. While the waitress was prompt in serving our table with pitchers of beer and sake, we did not receive our sushi until 1.5 hours later?! …Not even the appetizer/starter dishes like miso soup, gyoza, shumai, or edamame. About 40 minutes passed and they offered us general tso’s chicken and gyozas to hold us over until the sushi was ready. After we waited for about an hour, the waitress admitted she gave the paper slips with our orders to the sushi chefs; therefore, she was unable to put in our appetizers. We never got them, not even after the sushi. We didn’t even get all the desserts we ordered either — green tea ice cream :’( Problem 2) They gave us random food! When the first few plates of sushi did arrive, it was not anything anyone had ordered! They started handing us whatever rolls they could prepare quickly. The servers said, «Here you go, I don’t know whose it is» and then plopped a dish on a table. The rolls we did receive weren’t anything special. Also, they apparently don’t offer handrolls for their AYCE. Problem 3) Sashimi was not fresh. My side of the table ordered salmon and white tuna sashimi. Both types of fish had a funny consistency — sort of like it was frozen and then defrosted in the microwave. The tuna, especially, had a cooked outside, and grainy texture inside. Problem 4) WASTE of money and time! We paid $ 45 each and received about $ 10 worth of food. It was a Saturday night and we spent about 1.5 hours waiting for food to just COME. PROS: The waitress tried a little? Is it really that hard to bring over the 6 waters we had asked for twice?(She ended up only bringing 3, so we had to share…) If you want good AYCE sushi with adequate service, try Sushi Palace in NJ!

I can’t really rate a restaurant that I paid full price for delivery, & never received my order. I ordered through Seamless, which I use almost every other day. Was REALLY looking forward to a late night sushi attack with my room mate. Alas-$ 38 later, the restaurant was closed & no delivery, was a shame! (I would leave zero stars if that were possible)

Ima lay this place out plain and simple for all y’all. Every detail y’all need to know. So here we go: Logistics 1) the price is deceiving because when you get AYCE it ain’t just the advertised $ 28 nahimsayin?! they slap on an automatic 18% gratuity fee regardless of how many people if you get AYCE and on top of that there’s tax. So in reality you looking at around $ 37 for one sit down 2) rules of the joint: no sharing– translation if one person wants AYCE at your table errybody gotta get AYCE at your table! you can pinky swear and beg and even argue that by putting«no sharing» on the menu it actually indicates that people of the AYCE and people of the dish can fellowship at the table together in unity but the answer is a heck no you can’t Rule 2 you get 2hrs ready set go 3) the service is slow as heck. They do this on purpose to try to get you to digest and feel full… But no one shall get in between me and ma money’s worth… Ur boi went 4 rounds(hand them your next order the moment they come with your plates) 4) the servers have the nerve to stare at you as you eat… 5) they have like a 2004 – 2009 music playlist on retreat the whole night… It kinda weird cuz it looks nice inside hit the music isn’t fitting 6) add $ 5 to your AYCE and it becomes AYCDrank as well Food 1) quality wise their fish was solid! Their salmon and white tuna cuts were fresh and on money 2) here is one thing that bothered me: on their AYCE menu the majority of their rolls were fried or spicy/saucy… This indicates that the fish in these rolls not just here but at any restaurant are not the freshest ocean dwellers around… It’s probably slightly old material or frozen etc… Sushi places do this to mask quality 3) recommended approach get one or two rolls and kill bump dat baby on dat sashimi game! One order of sashimi is literally one piece… So you just gotta get like 8 orders of each 4) their AYCE menu is extensive compared to many other places I have been to. They have legit meat dishes and noodle dishes but this is a decoy cuz even though some of these taste good… The literal dough is on dat fishy fish doe! Ya dig? Get dat raw stuff… When I go to AYCE sushi all my eyes see is the fish! Good variety but eh… Let me get ma money worth doe!!! 5) one and only solid roll recommendation is the sex in the lobby roll I live in CA and let me let y’all know… I’m the master of AYCE… I’ve been killing it since age 5 in Vegas and around the golden state and Korea the Meccas of AYCE. If this review was purely based on food I would have gone 3.5 rounded up.

well… looks like the 20% off with student ID deal is over… so so sad. an era of amazingness has passed. HOWEVER, they do have All You Can Eat(AYCE) sushi for $ 27AANDD add on another $ 5 for all you can drink draft beer! But theres a catch. Theres always a catch, silly! The sashimi is EXTREMELY limited to only certain pieces of fish. The sushi selection is bigger, but still limited… and to be honest… $ 27 for AYCE is still kinda pricey. so I gave them 2 stars for the meh to nearly unhappy AYCE… but I simply HAD to bump them down to 1 single, lonely star due to the actual sashimi quality, and price of other items. The sashimi is COLD and tasteless. When you serve the sashimi straight out from the fridge/freezer, there is no flavor. You have to keep it in those little chilled bins that are cold enough to prevent spoilage, but not too too cold where the damn fish is nearly frozen and you’re biting a tooth chilling, flavorless piece of fish! Additionally, boyfriend and I are UNIFANATICS. $ 5 for ONE uni sashimi? Really?! and the uni isn’t even that plentiful or fresh!

I’d give this a solid 4 stars the sushi was fresh the people were nice. No complaints and I’m a sticker for sushi. They are somewhat new and I really hope the make it. The all you can eat special is worth it however you really have to be hungry to take advantage of it. I asked for a custom hand roll and the made it. Back in California during the Adkins crazy we replaced rice with daikon. I grew a taste for it. The made so yummy!!!

Probably the most best tasting cheap manhattan sushi you can order here at milosun. All their regular rolls have the right amount of rice and fish. Do get the honey sandwich. It taste good and the fish tasted fresh too. They even give you a 20% student discount if you show them your id.

Only sushi restaurant opened late at night, and I was really craving sushi at 2am. Also, the prices on are more expensive than the prices on seamless. 1. the rolls are TINY and expensive. 2. I asked for a maki roll– the rice on the outside. But nope, I didn’t get that. 3. They came a lot later than the expected delivery time, and I had to call them to ask them for the status. Just a disappointing experience. But if you’re craving sushi at an obscene hour, there is where you get it!
