Had a really wonderful lunch here! Very traditional and at the same time untraditional menu items. You wouldn’t expect Mediterranean pitza to work but it does here! All their menu items are perfectly spiced and well made. Really cute and shabby chic UES joint. Staff is super chill and everything is on island time so don’t come here in a rush. They have lulling music in the background and this sleepy atmosphere during the daytime is the perfect backdrop to enjoy their fragrant and satisfying dishes. Looking forward to coming back!

We were the only ones here for a late lunch and the service was very slow. I’ll allow it though because it was Memorial Weekend and the food was incredible. The Lamb Kebab Plate and the Falafel Plate were some of the best I’ve had!

Yuck to their lahm bajeen. It had some weird spice that doesn’t really belong there like a sumak tasting. And my ayran was delivered in a soup container, which is fine but the youghurt had leaked out over the rest of the food

Fantastic food! Authentic, fresh and delicious. Very relaxed environment– I will definitely return! The pita is incredible and prepared pretty much right in front of you. Highly recommend the chicken kebab, falafel and avocado appetizer. Looking forward to trying the pita pizza next time!

I used to come here all the time for a glass of wine. Or a few. I really can’t complain about a single thing here. They treated me like family. Every once in a while I would order their food, which is really full of flavor and taste. I would recommend to anyone looking for this type of restaurant. Be sure to go in the summer when they open the patio.

So good. My friends and I have come here maybe like 6 times. Hummus and pita are awesome — super simple but they make it delish. I typically get the ouzi but have also gotten the pitzas. Try both!

Service was good but the food was just okay. The babaghanoush and lamb pizza lacked flavor. The ouza was better, highly flavored with cardamom, with varying textures with almonds, rice, raisins, chicken and phyllo. Unfortunately the rice in the ouza was overlooked and mushy, but perhaps that’s hard to avoid if you bake it after cooking it.

Excellent service at this quaint neighborhood erhnic restaurant. Had heard a positive review from a friend so was anxious to try it. Presentation is nice, but wished the flavors were bolder. Most of the dishes required some seasoning(which is much better than when food is salty because my wife and I do not like much salt). May have considered giving 4 stars, but we discovered a small hair in one of our dishes. The server appropriately brought us a replacement and did not charge us for that dish. No complaints about service and understand that problems occur. Not sure if we will give it another chance.

Went to eat here upon the recommendation of my land lord saying it’s a great family ran resto with excellent food. The first time I went here was when I viewed my place now and my land lord had the key kept there. While waiting, I met the owner of the place and he offered me a glass of Lebanese red wine and we got to talking. When I was finally leaving to check the place and paying for the wine, I was told it was compliments, on the house. How lovely and generous! I then vowed that I will return for a proper dinner if I end up moving in, which I did! =) Finally got to try dinner last Saturday night post spending the afternoon at Central Park. Now this was an adventure in itself for me. I’m a creature of comfort and I usually stick to my favorites which are Italian, French, Steakhouse and Thai. So to try Middle Eastern food, was something I consider an adventure. Met the Manager Faisal(hope I got the name correctly!) who immediately gave me a good table and recommended what’s good after I ordered a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. I was looking for beef but saw they didn’t have any so I went ahead with the recommended Grilled Baby Lamb. I am not a huge lamb person, I think it’s an acquired taste. But upon tasting it, oh my. It was just so tender, delicious and divine! The salad that came along with it was perfect and so is the special hot sauce that they gave me when I asked for it. I told Faisal that I’m not a lamb person but that I think I was just converted! It was that good! :) I went for another glass of wine and later found out that it was on the house! What perfect treat! I would definitely be dining here as often as I can! I can’t wait to try the rest of the menu, seems like people really crave for their specials. Thank you for the fantastic food and homey and warm friendly service! Happy to be a neighbor and regular customer from this point onwards! =)

Super delicious easter lunch today. This restaurant is our new favorite. The lamb was perfectly cooked, grilled and was juicy. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is a charming place and the service was fast and pleasant. I recommend this place

Over priced, my delivery arrived after an hour and a half. The food was cold and tasted like they forgot to add spices. And also how serving hummus without pita bread. Definitely the last time I’m ordering from this place. If I could give them less then one star I would

Loved this place. It’s not fine dining, but for excellent middle eastern food, it’s great nso 5 stars. Lentil soup was outstanding as was my lamb dish. Very nice staff and service and elegant décor.

who serves hummus without pita? How exactly are patrons supposed to eat this? «some people have allergies and eat it with carrots» was the response from the guy behind the counter. is this a joke? wait it gets better… after ordering the pita(5 pieces to be exact as there were 5 people in my party), it came out to $ 10+!! $ 10+ for PITA where each piece prob costs 15cents to make. we ordered delivery and they didn’t even send silverware! this place is absurd… eat elsewhere. the food is edible but not much to write home about(pretty meh hummus that tastes like sabre and the chicken kebeb is chicken. that actually keeps repeating on me). to have the audacity to actually defend the fact that you serve hummus without pita is just beyond me. go elsewhere. pretty mediocre eats with ridiculous service.

A winner to me! It has the vintage feeling, au natural, since everything there is indeed old but it felt right and comfortable. Plenty of seating and would be good for a large party I would think. They have a wine list but they ran out of the Sauvignon blanc at 7pm on a Friday so I’d say limited wine selection. Food is authentic and good. I like the fact that things are overly salted and hence you taste the underlying ingredients more. I had the lamb meatball plate and Ouzi(baked rice inside a fillo dough). Both are really good and generously sized. I asked for hot sauce and they gave me harissa which I’ll definitely want to come back for. There is one guy that’s constantly making the pitza so ill definitely come back again next time for it.

(I pronounce this«mustache» in my head.) The Good: spicy lamb sausage. I grew up eating too many roasted lamb skewers in Beijing and went through a period in which I hated that wild, gamey-aftertaste. Now I’ve come to my senses and love lamb, especially the white wooly ones in the petting zoo. The Meh: $ 6 tiny square of baklava. The actual baklava was glorious, all flaky phyllo and pecans/pistachios soaked in honey. I just wish I had gotten 2 more bites out of $ 6. The Really, Really Meh: seafood pitza. Maybe I had gotten it into my head that this was going to be some chewy Lombardi’s-style dough but instead we ate a cracker with soupy tomato sauce and cheese that fell right off the slice as soon as you picked it up. A flimsy dough is always a deal-breaker but I give points for the generous amount of scallops. The Terrible: dinner was almost 2 hours. Our waiter left us to our own devices which is fine if you don’t have True Detective to look forward to, but he never refilled glasses, checked in with the food, or came by to pick up the check. Bah.

Over priced. I ordered delivery. A chicken kebab plate, a lamb kebab plate and hummus. Showed up with two boxes food, hummus, not pita bread. The hummus cost $ 7 without any bread or pita. We paid $ 40 for three small plates of food, even found a piece of black hair over 1 inch long in the lamb plate. Never again. This part is an update… Maybe I should have not eat the food after I picked out that hair. 30 mins later, my stomach hurts and have been in the bathroom for a while. The chef who works here should really watch their hygiene. I will never ever pay over price food and get sick again from this place.

Such a cute atmosphere and the staff here are so kind. I got the I love lamb so I got the lahambajin pizza. It has so many flavors all in one, but it was good! My bf got the moustache pizza and he loved it. The crust is thin and crispy which is always good. We also got the baba ganoush which had the perfect amount of smoke. Not over powering. Would come back!

This isn’t a place you go to for your New York style pizza. You go here for some higher quality, creative-type pizzas. The three of us tried three different pizzas: Moustache Pizza, Green Pizza, Lahambajin Pizza. Each have their own distinct taste, but our favorite was the Green Pizza. Topped with leeks, scallions, and other herbs, it has a rich and thicker taste to it than the other two. I would definitely go back for the Green Pizza.

Secret neighborhood spot with outdoor seating! Well, not that secret. Moustache Pitza is located right on the corner of 102nd and Lex and I’ve walked by all the time, admiring the outdoor seating. I finally had the chance to eat there last weekend and was mighty glad I did. It was a little late when we arrived but the restaurant had a consistent crowd flow throughout our visit. The server was prompt with service and we quickly placed our orders. We decided to split the foul, ouzi, and lamb kabob platter. The lima bean salad came out first. The bean were cooked very al dente and the olive oil /lime juice combination was very enjoyable to eat. The dill, while subtle, did a great job of bringing everything together. Next came the main entrees. The ouzi reminded me of a chicken pot pie, except instead of potatoes and a pie, it’s filled with rice and stuffed inside filo pastry. When we broke the dome, steam just poured out and filled our table with rich flavors. The accompanying tsiziki added a fresh and cooking layer to the dish. That was the first to go. The lamb kabob presentation was beyond beautiful. Not only were the kebabs neatly placed around the even mound of rice, but the roasted tomato was cut up like a flower and made the dish almost too pretty to eat. A fork-full of kabob, rice, and tomato sauce was so delicious this was a close second favorite. All in all a very enjoyable experience. The outdoor seating is clutch(although Lexington isn’t the most scenic avenue). I’m happy to know of another decent grub spot in the neighborhood.

Bön restaurant. Nourriture turque assez bonne, variée. Le restaurant en lui même est assez joli, quelques tables dehors donnent sur la rue, relativement calme le soir(du côté de la 102e rue, pas de Lexington Avenue). La moussaka est excellente!
