The owner really was the different from a 4 Star review to a 5 Star review. The food can stand on its own, I absolutely recommend buying the Naan. However the menu changes ever day(fresh food made daily) and the owner was outside the stand guiding you through the menu. Would absolutely go again.

Wow. I didn’t even finish the Biryani yet but I feel compelled to write this review. It’s AMAZING. It’s parked further away from the other food trucks but this has got to be the best food truck around here. It’s even better than Korilla, I dare say! The cart is decorated tastefully and it advertises samosas and Indian food, so I had to try it. I honestly thought nicely decorated trucks usually don’t have good food, but I WASWRONG. It’s cheap, good quality, tastes amazing, and from the looks of the truck — seems clean! The owner seems like a very nice guy too! I also had the chicken samosas — good but maybe if a sauce came with it, it would be even better. This truck doesn’t seem too busy yet, but I’m sure it will get busy soon enough. TRYIT before they get busy!

This cart’s Indian food is so good and so fresh, it doesn’t even seem like you’re eating cart food. Coming here a few times, I got to know the owner, and I asked if he would like to donate food to a holiday party I was throwing for a homeless shelter, he right away did not hesitate. Being that I already placed an order for Chinese and Pizza, I really didn’t need that much food, that if he donated samosas, that would be more that enough. He generously donated about 100 samosas, and that went fast, I was lucky I was able to get my hands on one. Absolutely delicious! The name of his cart is «Ghar Kaa Khaana». Being of Indian descent, & growing up in a Hindi speaking household, I know this means, home food, and I have to say it definitely tastes like home food. Definitely worth trying!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Truly amazing value for your dollar. This isn’t your typical Indian food. Chef Rishi cooks AUTHENTIC homemade Indian food. This stuff is amazing — I frequent the truck multiple times per week. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious — the samosas, the biriyani… everything! The owner/chef Rishi is a great guy to talk to. Very friendly, and often gives extra food for free. Definitely check this truck out.

Really brings you back to the tastes of India. Everything is made fresh and Yuvraj blends the ingredients so well it always leaves me satisfied without a doubt. A great bang for a buck. And definitely try the chicken biriyani on Tuesday and Thursday!

A little known secret… that nothing tastes better than homemade food. Thats exactly Ghar kaa khana(translation«homemade food.) This food truck is simplyyyy amazing. The BEST Samosas in all of NY. Crunchy, yet soft, with just the right amount of filling and spices. My other favorite dish was the chicken curry. Tender pieces of chicken in a mouth-savoring curry broth, perfect with rice or roti… tasted just the way my mums cooked it for so many years. Extremely friendly staff with great, speedy service. The warm food from this truck is just what you need through the cold winter nights.
