This Chocolate shop within Park Av Plaza Hotel is awkwardly located like an info kiosk in a mall; as such, they were open but no employees were present.

I, the Squab, was happy to stumble across this hidden chocolate shop on my way to work. Unfortunately it’s always closed when I walk by before or after work. So Porko oinked on over, and snorfed out some truffles for us to sample.
Fresh on my mind were the awe-​inspiring works of art from Neuhaus, just a few avenues over. So I was disappointed to bite into the truffles to find them chalky and a bit flaky. Fail.
Still, they are gourmet chocolates, and they’re better than Lindt or Godiva, but if you’re in the area, skip this place (AND Leonida’s, bleh) and head over to Neuhaus or Fifth Avenue Chocolates :)

I had a few more pieces today: peanut butter truffle, milk chocolate raspberry truffle, and champagne truffle. Aside from the champagne truffle, all were ordinary. The champagne truffle and the dark chocolate mint truffle were okay.
