The meatballs were amazing. We ordered the calabrese pizza and it was delicious. The service we had when we went was good.

Service is always fantastic. Meatballs and Calabrese pizza are delicious. I went twice in one week. A little pricy but worth it.

Really rare for me to dole out a 5 star, but this is some of the best pizza in the world, New York, Malta, Venice, Rome, San Fran… still my favorite. I recommend a Cabrese with a kalamata sub for the red onion, followed by the gelato with brownie and chocolate drizzle. Don’t forget to grab a couple local IPAs off he draft. Enjoy!

Ordered from here on a Thursday night via seamless and so glad I did! I found a new neighborhood favorite. ordered the meatballs(came with 6) and a pizza with the fried eggplant(can’t remember the name but it’s the only one with fried eggplant in the description). Molto bene! Not only did it arrive in a timely matter but the food was beautiful and smelled delicious(sometimes these factors are lost in delivery). I will definitely be ordering from here again, can’t wait to try their other pies.

The gluten free pizza was quite good, however, my husband had the regular pizza and ordered sausage. Where is the sausage? One miniature sized sausage ball per slice is ridiculous! For the money, Unilocal has the $$ rating wrong. $ 22.50 for a pizza that literally had 8 itty bitty sausage balls on it is overpriced. I’ll probably order the gluten free again, but for my husband… he’ll be ordering his pizza from Stromboli on 1st Ave from now on. And to top it off, the delivery guy went to the wrong address and insisted he was at the right place and that our apt number wasn’t there. That’s because he was across the street. Because of this the pizza was cold when it arrived. I won’t be tipping them again.

A girlfriend and I weren’t able to get into another brunch place, so we wandered around and ended up at Nicoletta’s. I wasn’t a fan of the idea — pizza for brunch — but I definitely changed my mind after this experience! My friend ordered a Margherita with essentially no cheese, and I had the Prosciutto Pizza. It is literally the most scrumptious, flavorful, high-quality pizza you will ever have — toppings on mine were prosciutto, ricotta, and some honey. It might sound like a strange combination but MYGOD it was incredible! Will definitely go back.

Came here with my boyfriend during the week for dinner because I had read about this place being one of the best places for pizza. and that list was not wrong! The pizza was SOGOOD and very yummy. It seemed maybe a little expensive, so I suggest you come on a Monday. A cheese pizza is $ 10 and beer is $ 4. I’ll be back!

we snagged a sunny table outside with plans for just a small snack and ended up with a full meal. we started with an heirloom tomato special which was really tasty but small for the $ 8 price tag. we then got the margherita pizza which honestly was a bit disappointing. i jazzed it up with oil and chili pepper and it was a-ok. the best part of the meal was the soft serve gelato. we got ours with dark chocolate sauce and caramel popcorn. a good spot in the EV for sidewalk dining when the weather is nice.

Great place with addictive pizza! Definitely opt for the build your own as it’s affordable and a great amount to split. Their crust is well done and more substantial than a lot of places and the pepperoni was perfectly crisp. We ordered a half carafe of wine and I recommend that if you’re planning on getting more than one glass. Next time I want to try one of the specialty pizzas.

To be honest I put off coming here for years due to the terrible reviews this restaurant received when it first opened. I was pleasantly surprised by the meal here and was happy to find very good pizza. We came for the Monday special which is a good deal. Started with the meatball appetizer which was tasty. Moved on to the pizza which has a nice gooey cheese and a good crispy crust. Tap beer selection was good. Service could have been better. I would return again for the Monday special.

My experience with Nicoletta introduced me to good pizza, as opposed to normal pizza like from nearby Rays and Two Bros. I’ve only had pizza here so I can’t speak for their pasta but I would say their pizza is crafted better than famous Grimaldi’s. Their selection of pizza spans a delicious variety. You can’t really go wrong with pizza in general. When it’s warmer out you can sit outside and enjoy the life of the East Village. When it’s colder you get to sit inside with exposed brick walls and peer at the open kitchen. Unfortunately and fortunately Nicoletta isn’t usually packed and makes for a relaxed comfortable experience. Appetizers: $ 7 Brussel Sprouts. They’re decent but the portion is served in an abysmally small bowl. Go to WestVille for your vegetables. $ 11 meatballs. My girlfriend said she almost cried on the first bite and commented that it was much better than The Meatball Shop’s. I have to agree; the sausage used was nicely flavored, the meatballs were very juicy, and as one who usually isn’t fond of marinara sauce, I have to say the sauce used was deliciously complex. On top of that the mozzarella tasted like it had been marinated in the sauce and was amazing stretchy. To finish it off the bread, which reminded my gf of Pizza Hut crust(a good thing?), reminded me of B&H’s delicious challah bread — light, fluffy, crispy on the outside, and somehow buttered. Overall it justifies the price. Drinks: $ 4 soda + $ 2 to make it a float. The glass of soda is most definitely not worth $ 4 but they add generous scoops of their amazing gelato for $ 2 which I could not stop drinking. $ 6 Mulled apple cider glass. This was pretty standard and the spices are delicately present. It complements the pizza and meatballs very well though. I would recommend. Service: They’re usually very attentive but out of your way. They even only charged me for a soda and not a float due to a «ordering error» which was an error equally divided in fault. I wrote the majority if the review prior to getting the good news but I wouldn’t bump up their ratings for that.

Always looking for pizza and always looking for GF(for my roommate, I eat bread all day everyday). Nicoletta is a small, trendy place right in the heart of EV with some GREAT eats. I made my own pizza which was HUGE and definitely a go to if you’re trying to share or have leftovers. I didnt love their meatballs but the pizza itself was REALLY good. Their GF pizza was amazing according to my roommate and my other friend got pasta. They have lots of apps, salads and pastas to choose from and a cozy decore with exposed brick and open kitchen. Never too crowded but maybe we can change that :)

Nicoletta was an impulse stop on our way to another place but looking at the menu and it was cold out probably helped its cause. The hostess was friendly, quickly squeezed us in between a tight table of nauseating googly eyed couples. I had to check to make sure it wasn’t Feb 14th. The table spacing was close quarters for sure and set up like a quasi dining bar with a huge TV hung on the wall. I’m not a fan of TV hanging as it is distracting unless it is a sports bar or you are too busy staring into your date’s eyes. Our server was quick to say greet us and gave us some time to look over the menu. It had the usual selection of appetizers and pasta one would find in an Italian restaurant with a decent beer selection. We settled on the Arancini to start and the Campanaccio pizza. The Arancini are reminiscent of when I was in Rome and somehow in the US has transformed into gigantic balls of rice. Here they were small round in a gooey cheese sauce that was quite good. They were the prefect size. The pizza was equally as good. The crust warm slightly charred and had plenty of flavors from the toppings. It was also a good sized pizza to share for two people. I think you can’t really make a bad pizza but you can certainly a make a good or great pizza. Nicoletta certain makes a good pie. The service was attentive, good solid food now just get rid of the unnecessary TV on the wall in the dining room.

I love, love, love Nicoletta! I’ve ordered delivery from here many times and I have never been disappointed! Some of my favorites from all the orders I’ve placed here: — Olives — straightforward, but delicious — Cauliflower — Cheesy yummy goodness — Spicy Chicken Wings — Delicious, especially with the blue cheese crema — Custom Pizzas — Fennel sausage and Arugula is one delicious one — Funghi — super creamy and yummy — Tartufata — also creamy and yummy My friend who has Celiac disease is a big fan of this place’s Low gluten pizza and spicy chicken wings.

I met my friend for dinner after work at Nicoletta. I’d passed by it many times, usually after getting a juice/smoothie from Liquiteria a block away, but I’d never been before. My friend had suggested it, and it sounded like it should be good, so we went. We met there around 6:30 and the place was empty. A few people came after, but it remained pretty empty the whole time we were there, which was surprising since it was really good. Our waiter was pretty attentive, probably since there weren’t many people there, but he was nice. We started off with an order of meatballs. They were good! It came with 6 meatballs covered in tomato sauce and cheese, and 3 pieces of bread. Definitely a good start to our meal. Then we got the campanaccio pizza to share. It had fennel sausage, wild mushrooms, tomatoes and mozzarella. I am not a fan of mushrooms, so they were able to just do half the pie with them and half without. The pizza crust was pretty thin, but nice and crispy. It was a good size too, 8 slices total and I struggled to finish my 4th slice. I was getting full, but it was really good so I powered through. Then we saved a little room for dessert and got a deep dish cookie with ice cream on top. I mean how can that be bad? It can’t, and it was really good! Overall I really liked this place. It wasn’t too expensive, pretty quick, attentive, service, and the food was good. I’d definitely go back!

Don’t you hate it when you write a review for a place only to realize you wrote a review on the wrong place? Okay, here is the REAL review. My sister and I ate a small snack here after seeing«Stomp». We had dinner later on that evening and just needed something to tide us over. So we got: PATATE $ 7 crispy ngerling potatoes, pecorino true oil, lemon, parmesan fonduta MEATBALLS $ 11 brick oven baked neapolitan meatballs pomodoro, bread crumbs Then my sister got a salad, it was large but I did’t eat any of it so I can’t review on that. The Patate was large and sooooo good. I could have eaten the whole thing. Lots of oil and the cheese was great, it really is an amazing dish to share. The meatballs were great. Not too spicy, the sausage used to make the meatballs had great flavor. For someone who doesn’t like marinara sauce, I thought theirs was very flavorful. This is a great place to come after show and before the chaos of the evening begins.

Okay, so where to start. A group of us ended up here because we were craving Italian and found this was the closest spot. The staff was so wonderful and ontop of our service with everything we needed, water, etc. As reviewing the menu, it was extremely small and not too many options to choose from. I think it’s expensive for what it is as well, so I’m taking away 2 stars. Their setup is really nice for spring/summer time where you’re able to dine outside right along the busy street. I think it’s a beautiful location. Close walk to many things, as I’m sure you can see by the map. A friend had ordered their pasta and meatballs, even bein Italian herself, she said it was the best pasta and meatballs she’d ever eaten — I think that says alot.

Really not too bad and not the best italian I have eaten in the city. The calamari appetizer was quite small… very small to say the least. My friends split a pizza and enjoyed it. I also had the Rigatoni… which was ok. The chicken was sparse about in the bowl of pasta for $ 17 you could put more chicken in this dish. Service was friendly but thats not enough good reason to return here.

Solid Italian spot in the East Village. I live in the area and first heard of this spot from ordering off of seamless. I recently came to eat in person with my boyfriend on a Thursday night around 8pm. I’d recommend this spot if you are looking to sit and eat Italian in the East Village. OR ordering off seamless in the East Village. I’d go to other spots though if you are looking to go out to dinner with friends or on a date. It’s lacking in the ambience dept. RESTAURANTOVERVIEW: –It’s nice and clean inside, but doesn’t have a solid personality/ambience. –The wooden benches you sit on are not the most comfortable. –Outdoor seating along the sidewalk in the warm months — sit outside if it’s nice out. –Doesn’t get that crowded inside(at least when I have been). –You can see the kitchen from the tables. APPS: –Arugula Salad: This is very good!!! Loved this salad. PIZZA: –Bianca: Very tasty! –Classica: Love this too! *Pizzas are both crispy, large, and delish. Not your average pizza. Very very good. PASTA: –Spaghetti & Meatballs: Such a staple. Love the sauce it comes in AND the meatballs are great. I usually can’t finish the meatballs on my own. –Rigatoni: YUM! This is great too. Love the pesto sauce. SERVICE: –No complaints.

I came here with two friends a while back and it was a decent experience. The place was quiet, being the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, but I’ve passed by multiple times since then and I have not seen it nearly as empty as it was the day we went. I had major issues with the placement of tables, I literally could not figure out how to get in and out of my seat. The service was a bit below average, we were seated about twenty minutes before our orders were taken, despite the place being devoid of other customers. I was on one of my(very rare) diet kicks, so I didn’t have a pizza, just the arugula salad, but I did think it was yummy. I really dug the apples, gave it the perfect bit of sweetness. My friends ordered a calabrese pizza for the two of them. They seemed to enjoy it, but they were unable to finish. I wound up having a few bites of a slice, but I didn’t find the pizza that delicious. At least not delicious enough for me to completely ruin my calorie count. This place gets far too busy for me to bother trying it again, but if one day the stars align and it’s empty when I pass by, maybe I’ll stop in for a bite.
