I am very happy that I have found this flower shop!
I went in to buy a bouquet of roses for my wife on Valentine’s Day, and the staff were so friendly! They helped me as soon as I entered the store, and thanks to them, I got the best flowers I can get! My wife loved the flowers, and I am happy that I can buy flowers that are good quality and moderately priced. I am going to come back here soon!

I called this shop early in the morning to get flowers delivered to my lady on valentines day in the financial district. I started my phone conversation by asking if they were still taking any orders for valentines day and the man on the phone said «yes». I chose this place specifically because google maps says they are 8 minutes away from my sweethearts job. The man on the phone asks for the address, as I give him the address he gets upset and says «you need to find someone out close to her because we are swamped, thank you» and hung up the phone. Instead of calling back and arguing over the phone about how he could of nicely said «im sorry we are no longer taking orders, we are currently over booked on deliveries, have a nice day.» I much rather let the world know the poor customer service they have and no longer trust that they will even create a wonderful bouquet for my lady, possibly ruining her Valentines day. I do not recommend this plac of business, steer away everyone.

There is no more certain way to ruin a sweet gesture than ordering from Olympia Florist. I’ve received arrangements from this place on three separate occasions and always, the flowers are beat-​up and the arrangements sub-par…which is just as well, because they never last either. It’s unfortunate that there aren’t any other options in Washington Heights but next birthday I’m letting my fiancé know that I’d rather pick them up elsewhere than be disappointed by this place.

I really, really am so happy to have found this florist!
On several occasions I have been sent flowers (yes, i am appreciative and a lucky ‘lil lady) and they came from here and I loved the arrangements. I am not sure what the prices were on those arrangements but they sure beat the pants off the other deliveries and flower shops I’ve received/​visited!
The flowers always lasted well over a week and since I have had such wonderful deliveries from here I went in to the store itself. It’s a little smaller than I expected, but it sure does not matter.
They were friendly and nice and the prices are so much better than everyone else’s around (except for the little lady who sits on the side walk and sells flowers all summer…)
