One of the Boys

Dan Lauria, he’s the dad from The Wonder Years. If you’re my age, you grew up watching him on TV. He’s a guy from Long Island and served in the Marines.
He knows Sunrise Highway and to me, that makes him one of the boys.
Dan Lauria is the play writer for One of the Boys. He’s from Long Island and should know how to play a NY Wiseguy. It’s a small theater and the play allows a nice visual to a typical NY Italian kitchen. Seeing the jello molds on the wall made me laugh, nice touch.
Ray Abruzzo who played in the Sopranos is also in the play. I thought he gave a funny performance as the mob boss.
Richard Zavaglia was also in the performance. Dude, I’m reading the website and I never heard of you. Sorry!
Put the three of them together and they play a Hollywood comical version of mobsters. I thought their cadence was too fast. They had a nervous, fast pattern and needed to slow it down just a tick.
At the end of the play, no one took a bow? The crew turned on all the lights and started setting up for the next play?
I thought it was a little strange to end the way it did, oh well. It was a nice night to see a funny play.
