This bookstore is just a joke. 15 days after the semester starts, you can’t return your books. So much for a return policy. Meaning if you bought your books 14 days after the day semester, you have only one day to decide whether or not you want to return it. It has all the typical things you can find in a book store, just limited. There is a limited selection of books, but a surprisingly wide range of stationary products and apparel. The main reason why this store gets a single star is that 2 weeks after the semester stars, they do not let students find their textbooks by themselves. They literally block off the textbook area so students can not find books — probably in an effort to raise the prices. The only people that are allowed in this area are employees and faculty. What’s the worst a student can do? Learn?! As with many universities, during the beginning of the semester, big corporations gave out samples. Pace lacks with these connections only getting one type of product per semester. One year it was gum. The next year it was Axe body spray. I’m sure that the enrolled female students have lots of uses for a body spray that is heavily used by prepubescent boys to give the illusion they smell good and have a good sense of being cool.
