I do buy most of my stuff from there, only one issue that they don’t have most of the stuff I need but it doesn’t bother me that much, the Spanish man who work there is so kind and helpful, and other thing I like there that they are not racial at all, highly recommend them.

The company I work for has been working with Panda for a number of years now and they always come through for us! I can personally say that I thoroughly enjoy working with the Panda team and will be sure to bring them with me as a vendor as I move jobs. They offer great prices for all their trims and go above and beyond to orders something if they don’t have something in stock. Jun and Zion always take care of me with rushing orders and making sure everything is perfect. If you are looking for a reliable and easy to work with trim vendor who can provide all services, definitely turn to Panda!

I have been working with Panda for over 5 years now. They always have everything I need and if there is something they don’t have, they will go out of their way to help to suggest alternatives or help me find it. As always in the fashion industry there are factors that can put you in a time crunch that can sometimes be completely stressful, however, the people at Panda have always done what they could(within reason of course) to rush or prioritize any urgent order or issue. I will always appreciate the level of customer service and at this point, complete reliability and honesty that has always been given to me at this establishment. With pricing they have always been fair and I can honestly say that this is the place to go all for all your generic trims and notions. :)

I’ve never been to the physical store, but I did order one of their half-body dress forms online. They were very helpful sending me all of the dimensions that I needed before hand & shipping out the dress-form in a timely manner. Price is also pretty amazing for such a good quality dress-form. I even had an issue with the dress-form after about a year, so I e-mailed them. They offered to send someone out to fix the dress form, but I live all the way in the Bahamas. So they e-mailed me photos with explanations on how I could fix the problem and I was good to go once again! I will definitely continue to use this company!

used the store several times. all the workers in the store doesn’t want to help you. they are switching me around, because they wanted lunch break. Averagely I got rude consumer service. SILTHREAD next door is a little better place to get similar items, and at least you can ask for help to get what you want at SIL. Panda? workers just hate their job. that’s the impression. not recommended.

You’ll feel like you’re part of a great show like Project Runway when you shop here, only you can take your time! The attendants are ever so helpful. There are so many things to choose to use in your creative projects. Check this place out and have a wonderful time exploring and using all the notions, sequins, appliques, and other items of wonderment that can be found to transform a piece of cloth into your designer dream!

I work in development at a clothing line, so a lot of times I need to find a specific zipper quickly. For the most part, Panda has been the place to go to. But, most recently I needed a satin tape, antique brass teeth zipper, and they only had #5’s. Anyways, their customer service is pretty awful; most of the people working there are rude. The exception to this rule is if you do production with them. It’s a different staff, and they are amazing. We got a faulty zipper in our bulk order, and they ordered a replacement from China because they didn’t have any in-stock.

Panda is not the prettiest notions/supply store where you can get your silk ribbons and Swarovski rhinestones, but this is a small store that can save your ass if you are a student or a weekend working fashion nun. Even though the garment district falls asleep at the stroke of 5pm on Friday, Panda is the hardest working notions/supply store in that stays open on Saturdays until 3pm.(The only fabric store open on Sat is Mood) While this place doesn’t carry any fabric other than muslin, you can get your pattern paper, thread, scissors, measuring tapes, zippers, shoulder pads, bra cups, elastic, etc. etc. etc. for most importantly, a pretty good price. How about Sunday you ask? Don’t push your luck sista!
