Cute little french place with friendly staff and great service. I came here on a pretty hot day and wish they had AC but it didn’t bother me that much. The tuna tartare was bland and overcooked with lemon juice and olive oil. The escargot is good. Their pan seared scallops with spinach was a no for me. Their scallops were small and overcooked so the texture became tough to chew. I would go back, maybe for happy hour drinks but not for the food.

I only stopped in here once by chance because their sandwiches to go caught my eye but I’ll definitely be back for another one. Disclaimer: I love Parisian cafes and I love simple French food, like sandwiches on baguette :) The vibe in this place was so spot on I really did feel like I was back in Paris sitting at a café in the summer-but again, I have a history with French sandwiches I’m sure no one who is reading this is interested in ;) I was at work so I just got a sandwich to go and only sat at the bar while I waited for my food, but the service was friendly, the food was good and I’d be willing to come back and eat there if I got a chance.

I have never written a review but I had to… This place is aweful. Worst service I’ve ever experience. I sat at the bar as the restaurant is small. It took 20 minutes to receive a glass of wine. Once dinner was delivered the server never came back to check to see if everything was ok. I am a slow eater so the server grabbed my food and half glass of wine and took it off the table. When the server came back out I told him that I wasn’t finished eating or drinking. He poured me a swallow of wine and offered a half-ass apology. My friend spoke to the owner and she walked away as my friend was speaking. Horrible!!! Just Horrible

The food was delicious, the service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was peaceful. This place seems to be an amazingly well kept secret. Not too pricey either!

Accidentally stumbled into this place yesterday, and couldn’t be happier about it. I was just looking for coffee and a place to sit down. The atmosphere was great, the staff was kind and welcoming, and the prices were reasonable. Ended up ordering the crème brûlée as well and it was delicious! A definite new favorite of mine

I love Parigot. It’s refreshing to have a restaurant like this in such a hip neighborhood. The restaurant is a cozy little space that feels like a family-owned French brasserie. The menu is right up my alley. Highly recommend the coq au vin. They make it the right way. Good steak frites as well.

Had a team lunch there(the party of 14 the review below is talking about…). Our experience was totally different. Their water pipe broke before lunch shift. They told us the moment we got in that a plumber was fixing it right now but it could take a bit. We decided to stay anyway. We got free bottles of water and I guess our hearts are warmer because nobody really complained about the cold, since there was really not much to complain about(nobody had to eat with their coat on). The food was great, I personally had the snails, steak au poivre and mousse au chocolat, which were amazing. Everybody was happy with their choices. All in all, the staff handled what I would call an extreme situation really well. Always a good time at Parigot :)

Laura S.‘s 14 member group was the one that held the door open while we were sitting next to it until they figured out how to close it. At that point, my generally warm heart had frozen over from the lack of the owner’s ability to follow through on her promises. We arrived promptly for our 11:30 reservation and were told that the pipe would be fixed in «10 minutes» and that since they couldn’t turn on the heat yet, they would bring us a space heater. Never happened. When 30 minutes in we told that we couldn’t have water or coffee refills because there was no water still, they told us that we could PURCHASE«French coffee». Eventually they realized that wasn’t going to happen, so they went next door to get water. Multiple times when we voiced complaints, we were told to refer to our friend who decided we should stay there. When we asked for the check, we were told no because they were being sent a dessert for a birthday at the table in an admitted gambit to prevent us from posting negative reviews. I was pleasant upon leaving. I decided to post this review when the owner called the person who made their reservation and berated her when a different member of our party posted the initial negative review. That is possibly the most unconscionable, inexcusable abuse of a patron’s private information I’ve ever witnessed. Avoid this place at ALL costs.

Kody’s dance was a blast! Bring single bills for his pole dance for sure next time! We are coming back again when Kody is around! Their rosé was sublime. Jack on the rocks comes in generous portions.

I’ve walked by this restaurant numerous times, but never stopped to see what they served until I saw it on Unilocal and it piqued my interest and I ended up having brunch here with my boyfriend and his boys. This restaurant is quite small, but it’s very casual and cozy to dine in. We made reservations for a party of six for a Sunday which I realized wasn’t necessary because when we arrived to the restaurant around noon it was quite empty. The service was really good. The staff made us feel comfortable and like a valued customer/diner. Everyone ordered their own dishes so I didn’t get to sample or snap a picture of their food, but here’s what I did try and know: For Brunch, Parigot has a Weekend Special where if you order a brunch, eggs or omelets it is served with one cocktail(Mimosa, Bellini, Sangria, or Bloody Mary) Sangria — I don’t typically have Sangria for a brunch beverage, but since it was offered along with my brunch, why not? I really liked Parigot’s Sangria! It was refreshing, fruity, and had floral and plum aromas. I liked that there were chunks of apples and pears. Eggs Norwegian, with Smoked Salmon — My boyfriend ordered this because loves smoked salmon or just salmon in general. I didn’t try it, but it looked amazing! The poached eggs were very plump and looked great! Eggs Benedict, with Canadian Bacon — This was similar to Will’s dish except mine was with Canadian Bacon. The eggs Benedict were delicious, plump, and amazing! The fries had a nice crunch to it and tasty. Salad was on point. Ratatouille — I saw this on the menu and knew I had to have it! The ratatouille was a true comfort food. Lots of vegetables incorporated with yummy and semi-sweet tomato sauce. It was really delicious. All in all, we were pretty happy with the service and most of all the food. I am definitely returning soon because their dinner menu looks exciting to try. I am glad I finally gave Parigot a shot after years and years of walking passed it.

Kody, the British contact lens wearing, Radiohead singing bartender, turned our night from a zero to a hero by facilitating an impromptu karaōke party after Baby Grand was discovered to be having a private event. If that’s not superlative service, I don’t know what is. Five stars. I’m sure the food is good too.

Very cute French restaurant in Soho. The chef and his family are from France. The food is pretty authentic and tastes good. The decorations made me feel like I was in France again. Our waiter was really nice. I would definitely go back next time I am in NYC!

It’s a funny place for a French restaurant, so close to Chinatown, but we had a grand time here on a Friday night. They were a little short-staffed, so the service had to be slow since we were a big party, but our waiter was charming and gave us little treats to keep hunger pangs at bay. The drinks are large and tasty, with Happy Hour prices on some drinks 4 – 7PM. The food was mostly good, but I ordered a smoked herring appetizer(I like fish; so sue me). Frankly, it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. Smoked fish should smell like smoke, not like fish, and this was so fishy-smelling, sitting in a plate of vinegar, that I felt bad for people sitting around me. I ate it as fast as I could and had the waiter replace my plate, it was that smelly. Taste was ok. The service really made the evening for us, though. As the night went on, the staff was able to devote more attention to us. There was picture-taking and toasting by the end. It was a very pleasant dinner.

This place is FANTASTIC!!! The CUTEST little French restaurant and bar in Little Italy, surprisingly enough. It’s very cosy and homey, it also has a FANTASTIC drink known as La Parisienne. The waiter Eric is very hospitable and friendly and he goes above and beyond be nice and recommend the best drinks and food. We had the mushroom ravioli and it was NOT a mistake, Au gratin is the best way cuz it’s with melted Swiss cheese and bacon! Definitely the best place to go after a long night, the atmosphere is perfect and relaxing. I would definitely recommend

Parigot brings me home to Paris. The petite restaurant is very casual and gives off a home-y feeling. The hospitality that the restaurant owner gives is very welcoming and it makes you feel like a valued patron. The food started out great but the entrée wasn’t too pleasing. My table had the escargot, lovely as always; the foie gras pâté, which was homemade and absolutely delicious. The entrées of hanger steak was definitely on the chewier side, the owner did warn us on this; the ribeye was ok, nothing too special; the skate dish was a bit too messy looking, too much vegetables surrounding the skate and the sauce from the ratatouille was too strong; best of the night was the lamb medallions, seasoned nicely and cooked just right. Overall, I really like Parigot and would like to go back and try the other dishes they offer.

Ótimo custo benefício! Achei meio esquisito pois só tem um garçom para atender todas as mesas, mas ok. Os prefix menus de almoço são shows! Comida saborosa e voltarei mais vezes! Peça a truta com purê de batata é deliciosa!

Service was non existent. Food tasted horrible and overly salty. I stood inside this small empty restaurant at 3pm for a late lunch date and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated although the restaurant was empty. Waited another 15 minutes before i was brought a menu even though i asked for one when i sat down. Then it was another 20 minute wait after i told the waiter i was ready to order. At this point, i was ready to just tip $ 1 for setting the table and just leave to get food elsewhere. Too bad i didnt have any single dollar bills :( Finally after i ordered, when the food came out it was soooo salty i could only eat the salad that came on the side. With no sauce. They use some sort of horseradish dressing that tastes awful. Finally, when i asked for my check, the waiter said okay and then proceeded to bus empty tables, seat incoming guests, and then taking their orders and then he wiped down more tables. I had to ask the hostess to bring me my receipt. After waiting another 15 minutes without the hostess taking my money, i brought it up to the bar to tell them to please give me change. It was such a horrible dining experience. Dont spend your money here. It’d be a waste

Def won’t be back! The waitress brought us regular menus, along with the bar menu and left us to decide what we wanted. We both picked something off the bar menu as it was late and we just wanted a quick bite and a drink. She then argued saying we could only order from that menu if we were sitting at the bar. If that was the case, why bring us that menu? It was a completely separate menu. Not to mention this restaurant is literally the size of a studio apartment and the bar seats 6 people, at best. So they crafted a menu for the 6 choice patrons who are«lucky» enough to score a seat? After a bit of back and forth, she finally allowed us to order from the bar menu. My friend got a diet coke and burger. I got a mojito and pizzette. My friends burger was fine, and, well how can you mess up a diet coke? My pizza tasted stale and was basically a soggy pita with some cheese and tomato sauce slapped on. Mojito was OKAY but nothing to write home about. Too much sugar that wasn’t dissolved. The icing on the cake was when we got our bill and each item was $ 1 higher than the menu stated. Yeah, it’s only $ 1 but it’s the principle! We didn’t have the energy to complain… just paid the bill and left. I figured this review could serve as my complaint. All the food is way overpriced on the normal menu and one«special» of the night was $ 18 spinach soup. Seriously??? This place is like borderline chinatown/soho…it’s cute inside, but nothing too fancy. I don’t get it.

I want to love this place I really did! The food from the prix fix is good with a nice presentation. The salmon was cooked to perfection unlike alot of places. The steak was done just right with plentt of fries. I ordered the warm apple tart but when we got it… i was a bit disappointed. The waitresses were good most of the time but we’re hard to get when things got busy. My biggest gripe with this place and it could’ve gotten 4 stars was the billing. For some god forsaken unknown reason they have a «rounding fee» which means if your subtotal is $ 100.21 they will add 79 cents just because so they can round it off to $ 101.00!!! Just added nearly a dollar to bill for nothing Update: thank you for the reply. I feel like if you knew about this POS parameter error and have been in contact with technical support it would be been quite easy to manually take it off. In fact I do hope you fix it soon because the rounding fee practice is illegal
