Parkslope Mastering

Listen this place is a ripoff. I sent in my 9 tracks, and I was nervous they charged so little for mastering, but I was on a tight budget for my album so I checked out their website and they had a huge list of local bands on it, so I figured they must be doing something right. I was dead wrong, I got 2 tracks back they actually left hissing on! What «professional» would leave hissing on a mastered track. I got extremely sketched out they were a bunch of amateurs posing as a real mastering company, I didn’t find them on Unilocal so I decided to create this as a warning to anyone that wants to skimp out on paying a little bit more to a company that will do your mastering job justice. Not to mention they also seemed to just raise volumes on the rest of my work. Very shotty job, after complaining they eventually sent me back a redone version of the hissy track… They reduced treble on it with some crap filter and now it’s lost all of the high end on it. I can’t win with these guys!!! They are also very short and minimal via email, no personality, no feedback on your music, no heart, no soul.
