Payless Shoe Source

There is no Payless shoe store here anymore. The party store next door gobbled this space up.

This Payless is pretty spacious and wasn’t too crowded at 6pm on a weekday. I could have used more spots to sit down and try on shoes, but the store is kept up well. They even have a wedding shoe dying display. What a smart market to get into!

sometimes i feel like «Sex and the City“‘s Carrie Bradshaw. i strut my stuff down 14^th street everyday… and i get the unbearable urge to buy shoes. in this case, i don’t have imaginary money or the balls to spend hoards of cash on a pair of Jimmy Choo’s… so, i result in splurging on 3 or 4 pairs at a time at Payless. is that even remotely healthy, too? i know i’m not shelling out hundreds… but i definitely end up spending $ 100-​$ 300 up in casual shoe store all over the city. i have an addiction with variety and quantity. lol.
this Payless Shoe Source location is brand new. smaller than many, but it serves its purpose on the 14^th Street/​Union Square area. i was thrilled to see it open up a few weeks ago. all the staff are ultra-​helpful and attentive. i like all of them and i’ve always been able to find the right size and style with their help. my recent buy was a pair of pink peep-​toe kitty heels and i already bought the black ones 3 weeks ago.
i don’t even like Payless that much. if anything, i splurge at David Z’s, Shoegasm, Shoe Mania, or Zappos. for some reason, though… i like shopping at this particular location. ;]
