The doctors might be great, but I have no idea of knowing. I called three times to get an appointment. Twice was shunted right to voice mail and not called back. Another time I chose «operator» and was on hold for 10 minutes before I finally gave up. Seems kind of outrageous for a medical practice – especially one that handles kids – to be so completely unavailable.

Absolutely do NOT go here. While I have no complaints with the doctors, it’s nearly impossible to make an appointment. We’ve been going here by default for 6 months and everytime I call, I’m put on hold for over 15 minutes. I tried requesting an appointment online and after 3 days I still haven’t heard back. There are several other practices in NY and the UWS and these doctors aren’t worth the stress of trying to get through to the terrible receptionists to make an appointment.

I’ve been going here since I was 3 years old and moved to the Upper West Side. I’m kind of sad that I’m about to get kicked out since I’m 22 now. My old doc was Dr. Curtis but I’ve been seeing Dr. Cosme since I was 13, though I’ve had experience with all the doctors and PNPs here over the last twenty years. This is a great practice. They’ve done everything from give me my flu shots to diagnose mysterious ailments, They’re really great. Bring your kids and teens here for sure. They are even really good with dealing with red tape, and I have never felt like I’m in the middle of a bureaucratic mess.
