Had my daughter’s 7th bday party and even though it was a chilly day (late October) the kids had a blast! Fernando and his crew are the best and the music was rockin’…great for a day at Chelsea Piers and parties… just remind people it is outdoors and spread the word it is the best kept secret over there!

Love this carousel and so glad to have Fernando back this year. He plays great fun music (we can usually get a ride with let it go which is a must for us!) and and is friendly and kind to me and my kids. Pretty location and great fun!

We love this beautiful carousel, and we love fernando! His smiling face is always there to greet my kids. My kids feel like this is their own private carousel. And it has such a gorgeous view of the water. We ride our bikes from the east village to visit this little treasure often! Definitely worth it.

This is our favorite carousel in NYC. I’ve been taking my godson there for years (barring a short period when the carousel was closed). Some carousels and attractions in the city are staffed by folks who seem fairly bored. It is decidedly NOT so for this one: Fernando and staff are always enthusiastic, energetic, and they’re great with kids and parents. They play kid-​friendly music and really lend the place a fun atmosphere. The sea creatures (and unicorn) make this extra fun, too. Overall a winner!!!

I come here at least once or twice a week with my daughters. Gorgeous carousel with a great view. They guys that work here are awesome too. So full of energy and the main one (don’t know his name) knows my older daughter loves Frozen (what child under age 5 doesn’t) so he always plays Let it Go for her. It’s also cool that there is a clown/​magician act every Sunday.

My daughter loves the carousel. The ride is meticulous, the environment is beautiful — on the Hudson, the music is fantastic/​fun and the operator Fernando could not be nicer.

We ride the Carousel all summer long. The guys that run it are super nice and fun, always playing great tunes. If your in the area or not it’s worth it to check it out!

My kids could not be happier that Fernando’s smiling face is back. The music is awesome. The staff is all smiles. Don’t visit if you don’t want your kids to want to ride all day! Mine loveeee it!

There is no more dedicated carousel operator than Fernando at Pier 62 Carousel. He is great with the kids, so friendly and fun – and always dancing to the great music. It is a wonderful place to kill some time with the kids. Go ahead and buy the 10 pack deal because they will want to ride again and again. We love this space and take so many friends there when visiting. The animals are beautiful and more interesting than your normal horses – all NY State animals (except maybe the unicorns!). We highly recommend.

Thank goodness the carousel is open again and the main man Fernando is back with his super friendly, happy nature.
My son loves to ride the unicorn but there is so many other beautifully decorated, ornate animals to chose from. This is definitely different to your regular horse only carousel.
This price is still amazing at $ 2 per ride and they always play current songs. I’m not into ‘Frozen’ the movie nor is my son but if that’s your thing ‘Let It Go’ is a popular play at the carousel.

My daughter loves coming here. The staff are very friendly and very patient with kids, who can’t decide which animal to ride. I go as often as I can and luckily I’ll be there every weekend this summer.

This carousel is kind of hidden so I had no idea this was here after many visits to the area. There’s an interesting variety of animals to ride including eels, seals, fish, unicorns, coyotes, etc. All kids love carousels so this was no different. It’s $ 3 a ride and the man working there was very friendly.
