Fun atmosphere aka loud fun music… Inattentive service… We asked questions and ordered items, received answers and items long long after. Pizza is OK by some standards but I New Yorker would never dare. The friendliest staff were the food runners/bussers… Won’t be back

Went here one rainy night after hearing so many positive comments from totally different groups of people. With all this chatter I thought this place must be great so decided to take a friend from out of town to see what this place was about. Upon entering, the place was pretty full(with ALL girls might I add, which I thought was funny, was this advertised in some girls love pizza blog I don’t know about?!?) Wine was $ 12 across the board which I thought was kinda pricy… No specials or happy hour here. We were hoping to get started on appetizers/bread since we were pretty hungry but they only had salads to start with. Service was subpar, every time we wanted to order, or needed anything we had to chase down the server. On a high the pizza was good, just for the $$ spent I expected much more.

[I have no idea what these Unilocal moderators are doing, but they moved all of the reviews and photos for this business to the original location, and then completely deleted the business page for this obviously different location. Here is the review that they moved as an «Update» to the review of the Upper East Side location]. ___________________________ Same solid pizzas as the uptown location, but the different menu seems much more limited, at least for now(hopefully?). There are no pastas here like they have at the Uptown location, but there are instead salad, vegetable, grill, and of course pizza sections. Everything other than the pizza wasn’t very memorable, but the fun vibe and the excellent crust makes it worth trying and coming back for. Definitely get the Salumi Picante Pizza($ 15).

I had a pretty awful experience here. From the rude and inattentive staff to the mediocre food. I want to like this place, so I MIGHT give it another shot, but they’d really have to wow me. Pros: Décor is great. Globe string lights, bright colors. They nailed the«beachy» feel. Prices are definitely affordable. Great people watching windows in the bar area. :) Cons: Food is bland. Music is WAY too loud. Had to shout to each other over the table. The manager who was on when I visited was, quite frankly, kind of a dick. He was clearly overwhelmed and over that night. Service was inattentive– I had 3 different servers throughout the evening. Took 10 minutes to get a glass of wine. Like I said, I want to like this place, but they made it extremely difficult for me to do so. Probably be better off getting a slice at the pizza place across the street.

I wasn’t super impressed with this place. The atmosphere is fun and the service is super friendly, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the food for me. 3 of us came on a Friday evening and while it’s nice they take reservations, there were still open tables around 7:30pm. The place is SUPER loud. Like so loud we couldn’t really hear each other, and when the waiters came around to ask if we were finished or wanted a box or anything we could barely hear or communicate with them. It was also a pretty dark place. I saw the table next to us using their phones to see the menus. The pizza itself was ok. We ordered the brussel sprout pizza, the salumi pizza and a side of cauliflower. The cauliflower was good but very lemony/acidic. It came with 3 big pieces, so was perfect for splitting with 3 people. The pine nuts it came with were delicious. The brussel sprout pizza was ok, but tasted very very salty to me. The salumi was better in my opinion, but still didn’t blow me away. The crusts of the pizza were really good though. Very fluffy and soft. Definitely not the best pizza I’ve had, but the place is cool if you’re looking for a more fun atmosphere and are craving pizza.

Awesome place! Friendly staff, good vibes, great music, and amazing pizza! Service was on point, drinks kept flowing, pizzas came out fast. They accommodated a big group of us(we booked in advance) and were seated downstairs by the kitchen. I liked that a lot! We could see the guys making the pizza. Oh and the Negroni and«Slipper» cocktails(I forgot the whole name) were incredible! Will definitely come back here.

Came in on Thursday as I had always wanted to try the uptown spot, but now this one is close to my job so I wanted to try it for dinner. So much fun! Love the vibe, it feels like you could be on the beach in Montauk. The staff was so welcoming and super nice. Our server — Freddie, was the best! Manager — Tom, also the best! Totally made the night. We shared pizza which was delicious and some bottles of wine. Really a great time, friendly people and a perfect vibe.

I’ve been to Pizza Beach twice since it opened, and the food is consistent, tasty and fast– even on a crowded Friday night. Service is fine: the bartender the first time I went there was very attentive and nice, however the waiter I had the second time was extremely aloof, forgot to bring a cocktail and was much more interested in the eight-party table he was also servicing. The music is much too loud, causing everyone to shout their conversations. They’re not offering takeout pizza yet, according to the hostess I spoke with on the phone. It’s a real shame, seeing as I live next door and would definitely like to call and order food. I realize they’re working out their kinks, though, and I have high hopes for this place. Reasonably priced, cute decorum and superb pizza.
