Planter Resource

I have been reading the reviews on this business and I have some thoughts to share. I love Planter Resources and the folks who work there. There is nobody more caring than Joe (owner), Paula and the entire team. The reviews that are written have one consistent element that keeps coming up: «the selection is great but the service is substandard». Here is the proper perspective: Yes, the selection is amazing. This is the wholesale flower district and you have to carry a large inventory to satisfy the needs of the local florist. As for service, this is not Bloomingdale’s people! It is a wholesale business that has made a strategic decision (due to high demand) to sell to the public as well. You cannot beat the prices here but you are not paying for frills. Come in, browse, ask a question or two and make your purchase or move on. This is how wholesale businesses operate and if you go there with the right perspective you will never be disappointed. Joe will give you great prices and he will always stand by his product (even years after the purchase). What they cannot do is hold your hand and engage in small talk when they are overwhelmed trying to help everyone (with a very small markup I may add). Our florist business has been purchasing from Planter Resource since 1995. Quality, consistency and great value.

I wish I had listened to the reviews! I completely concur with the 1 star reviews. Worst customer service you could imagine. The old guy with grey hair was a complete a$$. They may have a large selection but trust me you don’t want to deal with the people there! I wish I could give them 0 stars.

This is a fantastic place ! Wholesale supplier of all kinds of containers and planting
related items for the trade. My company has had a great relationship with planter resouces for over twenty years.
DO NOT bother to go there unless you have a resale certificate or tax exempt
certificate.
The staff is great as long as they know you and you are in the business.

What a wonderful store! Such a variety of products and the staff was more than helpful. My order was delivered the same day and I would highly recommend checking them out!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! How the stay in business is beyond me. Not only are the salespeople rude but so is the owner! They act as if you are being a nuisance by asking questions regarding the products they are selling! I would suggest shopping elsewhere. Yes they do have a large selection of product but it’s not worth the abuse in shopping there. Too many retails are competing for consumer dollars to shop at places where the staff is so rude!

Great product selection! Worst customer service! Lazy staff, don’t want to move a finger.
