I went here once, and never went again. They used to have a gay party every Friday called Berlin Fridays, and I’ve been hearing about it everywhere so I decided to go check it out, One of the top drag queens, Bianca Del Rio, was performing that night, so it gave me more motivation to check it out. When I got there, of course, there’s a line. I assumed it was because it was near capacity or full, but after waiting 25 minutes on line, and then paying a ridiculous $ 20 cover to a bitchy little queen, I saw that the club was EMPTY! I took that opportunity to get a good seat for the drag show and get a drink, the bartenders didn’t even acknowledge my existence, and it took 15 minutes to order a over-priced drink that was watered down and strong as hell. There was fights the whole night between bouncers and bartenders, coat checks, etc. It was a literal shitshow, and I got out of there so quick, it was full of ratchetness, and went to the Ritz Lounge, a few blocks down.

I was there for New year’s eve. The good: Clean bathrooms Attractive space The bad: The food wasn’t as good as deli platters The bars were understaffed The dj couldn’t match beats, choose music unfit for the crowd, and talked way too much. Stupid stuff. No seating. Women with high heels could not relax at all. The dj is the most awful part. They could have skipped food.

3.5 stars. Trying to find a popping spot in the city that plays hip hop/ratchetness(yes I made it it’s own genre)/r&b/reggae without you getting shot should be easier than it is really is. Providence provides that security, nice ambience, and a decent space for good dancing. DJ Envy was in the spot so it was definitely«lit» as the kids say. Ladies definitely dressed to impress and fellas left their du rags and timbs at home came in either sweaters or button downs. Now let’s talk about the VIP/bottle service. We came for my boy’s birthday, booked a table package that included 2 bottles of ciroc for $ 500(not including tax and tips). That’s no problem. it was pay week so we could splurge. When we get there, confusion from the dude checking everyone in. not sure the rules of bottle service(maybe he didn’t get that far in his orientation packet). Took us about 10 minutes to figure what the issue was. Eventually someone came over and right away she led us to the table. Now the VIP table rules changed: suddenly it’s $ 660.for two bottles one henny and one ciroc 750ml size. We also added hookah. about $ 20. I think that additional was $ 160 was their included tip? No idea why this wasn’t discussed from the beginning. Also the VIP section couldn’t fit all 7 of us. maybe 4 at a time. I would highly recommend the«mint» flavor of hookah. extremely strong and good. If you’re getting a table which is a good idea for a group just ask them to explain EVERYTHING so sudden additional charges aren’t slapped on. Overall a good night. music and ambience were 4 stars,(the played the macarena at the end though?!), hookah 5 stars, confusion for VIP is like 2 stars, friend’s level of fun was priceless.

My friends host parties here once in a while and I’ve had a few visits here. The place is spacious with two floors giving ample room for dancing, mingling and simply people having a great time. The sound system is loud with great sound and can get anyone in the mood to hit the dance floor. The hostesses have been friendly and I’ve had a positive experience here… do check their calendar for different events and enjoy what the place has to offer…

I came here with my friend, briefly, for Halloween. Providence had a promotion for that night, if you wear a costume or all black you get in for free. Awesome no cover! So we depart on our journey and when we roll up I notice that there is a line. I join said line and proceed to ask a girl standing in front of me how long she’s been standing in it. She tells me 20 minutes. Strike one. I don’t understand clubs and this need to manufacture importance. Lines for me makes me know that there is no one in the club, and you’re just trying to drum up curiosity for your establishment. Whatever we’re here now I might as well give it a go, when the bouncer approaches and tells us to move forward to buy tickets. Strike two, at this point I want to get out of dodge because I’m not waiting on this line and I’m not paying a cover, when your site said something else. I ask the bouncer what was up with the abrupt change, to which he looks at us and sneers then walks away. Strike three. Needless to say we hightailed it outta there had some drinks at an Irish pub, and got our dance on at another club.

Apparently there’s one in Atlantic City and one in NY. The one in A.C. was awesome. Went to the one in NY once for my bday and would NEVER go back. I’ve been to some shitty clubs but this was the worst club experience ever. We waited on a short line so that was fine but when I got there the woman collecting the money for cover charge was the rudest piece of shit I’ve ever dealt with. I couldn’t believe how mean she was to me for no reason! I did nothing wrong so I was really surprised at how she was acting! Ugh. Than on top of that the coat check girl was a prick for no reason. I think the staff here all together is just so nasty and unprofessional. The pictures on the website of this place are beautiful, but they don’t mention that there’s 2 floors. So the bottom floor inside was crappy and dirty. We couldn’t go upstairs to the actual nice part because of some private party, so we had to stay downstairs where it was completely ghetto. After a while my feet hurt so I was changing my heels into my flats that I had brought with me, and a bouncer yelled at me and said either I keep my heels on or get out! Wtf??? So I just kept my heels on and didn’t dance because I was too uncomfortable! Turns out this place won’t let women in unless they’re wearing heels. What a dumb rule! Than a friend of mine who was meeting us there later couldn’t get in cause she was wearing flats and not heels. This place wants you to look a certain way which is supposed to be dressy, which I get, except that they were letting in all kinds of trash from the street… they let in whorey looking chicks with their boobs and asses all out, yet they wouldn’t let my friend in who was wearing a beautiful classy dress just because she was not wearing heels… what kinda horse shit is that! Talk about priorities! My poor friend can’t wear heels because of a foot problem. Ugh my birthday was ruined because of this dumpy place. We all left and had a much better time. Never did get to see what the top floor looks like, but I don’t even care anymore, I am never going the fuck back to that awful place!!!

Walking by to go to a friends apt next door, my sister and I were harassed by a doorman. There were four but one in particular made a demeaning comment, apparently for the benefit of his 3 other doorman friends. As we walked by, he said«Your booty needs to get smacked» or something along those lines. I said«Fuck off» and he became aggressive and combative, yelling«WHAT??» repeatedly and starting to follow us down the street, though he clearly couldn’t leave his post because he stayed in a 4 ft radius. It was demeaning, unprofessional and pathetic. It was threatening and unnerving. I only wish I stopped to take his photograph. I hope this place goes out of business because of the disrespectful misogynists they choose to hire. And I will continue to share my story about this place on as many platforms as possible.

I came here to attend the 2015IP Awards ceremony last night. The pros: the staff were very diligent in clearing plates and bringing out fresh hors d’oeuvres to both the first and second floors. The bartenders were very attentive and quick. The cons: an emergency door had been opened some time before the event started, leaving a shrill alarm ringing on the top floor all night. I guess they weren’t able to shut it off, which made sitting upstairs pretty unpleasant. Luckily you couldn’t hear it from the ceremony on the first floor. Overall it seemed like a decent venue for a fancy cocktail party.

I had a good time here. The bouncers were super nice and so were the cuties doing the coat check… now that I think about it they were the cutest guys here. Men here were very shy. Which is weird because we are grown. Besides that … this is a very nice club… pretty clean and a lot of security overlooking the activity. You do get sear he’d upon entering by female security that look a bit distraught… DJ repeated a lot of songs which was a bit irksome… but besides that it’s pretty cool. Btw… all the men on a Saturday night were shorter then 5’10 except the bouncers… sheesh… the bouncers were starting to look righhht. Lol

Pretty good vibes. My friends and I had a reserved table for bottle service so we didn’t have to pay because we walked in with our promoter. That pissed off a lot of people but we didn’t know we wouldn’t have to pay the cover charge. Good music on the reggae side and the hip hop side sounded great as well.

Was here sat night. Came for a friend’s birthday. Got there early(1030pm) did not get in till(1140pm) mind you there was five people on the line in front of me. DJ played Hip and R&B but did not let a song play. He got skip happy way to early good songs would play started to dance then got jumped to a shity song. Come(1230am) headed up stairs for bottle service, which was nice. 8 bottles deep, finished that in stead of asking if we want more bottles they, cleaned the table, and sold it. HAHA What club does that? NOTEYOURNOT1OAK, it is now(2am). Leaving here at(230am) to a crazy night at a ghetto ass club. From someone who enjoys fetas, this was a nice space for some hood ass people. Won’t come back here!

Please avoid this venue if you like to, you know, enjoy your Saturday night out without any verbal altercations. I walked in with a friend and after passing through the unnecessarily touchy«security» pat down, I’m informed that they are now charging a $ 30 cover. No problem, I can have fun elsewhere for free. I turn around to leave and realize my friend is still with security. They have confiscated her comb and refuse to give it back even though we make it clear that we’re leaving. I try to reason with these«security» women who then bark that they«weren’t talking to me» and that«once something it’s confiscated, dassit, even if you leavin» Ok. Because that makes sense. I’m sure they have a nice little collection of contraband from people that never even went into what I’m sure is yet another ratchet club. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

I went here thinking i’d enjoy the night ended up disliking it! They actually force you to give every bit of material they possibly consider a jacket for coak check, so if your blazer looks like its a jacket prepare to add it. They force you to keep your heels on, which i usually keep on but that night my feet were hurting so bad and i sat down for a quick sec just to rub them and i got yelled at for taking it off mind you the boucer watched me when i took one off rubbed my foot then placed it back on smh. The dj sucked they didnt play any great reggae and the little bit the did i didnt dance because my feet hurt and i wasnt allowed to sit.(Yeah every seat is practically VIP so be prepared to stand)

Went here last night to celebrate my roommate’s birthday… OVERRATED!!! If you’re not doing bottle service the staff here treat you like crap. We got there before 12 so we wouldn’t have to pay the $ 30 cover, but ended up paying anyway bc the line outside wasn’t moving. The only upside to this place is that they have two different floors for dancing. Waaaay to many people though. Won’t be returning.

NEVER have I EVER had to wait on a line that basically went to the end of the block for an hour to get into a club. Especially when I was on the guest-list for a party that bought bottle service! It was ridiculously cold and people kept leaving left and right. I would have also if I did not have a dear friend I was there for. Now after finally getting in I had to deal with the stank(yup, not stink but stank because it was that out of control) attitude of the chick with glasses who said I had to pay her $ 20 even though I was on the comp-list. I told her no I am not paying $ 20 and she said I needed to go back outside to make sure I was on the comp list because NOBODY gets past me for free! Go back outside in the freezing cold after I was out there for an hour? are you serious? I got my phone and called my friend who was hosting the party and explained the foolishness that was going on and how much of a hard time they were giving me and my friend to get in. She came downstairs and handled the business. They even tried to give her a hard time but with all the money she was spending she knew she was within her right to have anyone she wanted to come in without having to pay more money and with that I got my comp stamp right in that rude chicks face and went about my business. Not again!

I came here for a friend’s birthday. This place was recommended to her by a promotor who shall remain nameless. Basically, if you’re ghetto then this is the place for you. Everything about this place is horrible and if you have an ounce of class, I’d suggest you stay clear. Thankfully, I didn’t spend a dime since everything was comped by the promotor. Summary: Rude staff Grungy décor Super ghetto clientele Overpriced drinks(from what I heard) Mediocre music

I had my drink spilled all over me. It was such an awkward experience to have to walk home in the cold. The music was terrible and prices were expensive. i really thought I could have done something better with my time. Things are really awkward. I really should have gone somewhere else. Seriously, what was the deal with the plastic cups.

The club has a good layout and the Music and DJ were good. However, a ghetto crowd mostly from Brooklyn shows up here. One time I could not get in because my girl did not have 6 inch heels. So pretty much the place just lost out on 60+ dollars by rejecting us. A good club needs to have diversity. The crowd is pretty homogenous. They are better places to hang out especially if one loves dancehall and R&B

The NYU College of Dentistry Halloween party was held here. Overall: Not bad. –There was three levels, two dance floors. –Coat check was only $ 2 and fairly efficient. –The sound system was decent but nothing to brag about. –The bartenders were fairly efficient except they used lots of ice so I needed a good 4 – 5 drinks before feeling buzzed. –There was approximately 600 of us and still had plenty of room to dance around.
